It seems after a little bit of scattered debate on the issue of the low blows that the people who have made an issue of them had Judah to win predominately.
It also seems like the folks who had Cotto to win think Judah was either acting, or not injured enough that the fouls caused any bearing on the outcome.
Nobody is being small minded about this are they? :dunce:
That's exactly what I'm saying, although the "almost knocking out Cotto" part is a bit sensationalist and quite a long way from the truth.
If you think Judah's reaction was genuine then you're a fool. Even the British commentators were laughing at him and saying he should get an Oscar. I thought I was watching an Italian football match for a minute there.
Looks to me like someone's in denial because they lost all their points and a bit of cash. Get over it, kid.
You make me laugh.. :wank:
............I just had to finish laughing at that..
So, you're saying Judah tried to fake getting fouled after almost knocking out Cotto just seconds before that??????????????????????????????????????
The Judah contingent on this forum have showed more class than the garbage I've seen posted here.. There's no fucking doubt about that. :fing02:

I was thinking the same thing....and that prolly threw Zab off like..."this guy hits me and the nuts then hugs me like Hatton"
I watched the whole thing I was already pissed BPacquiao lost...I've been trying to cover it with humor...
The lowblows were consecutive...round after round....
Zab deserves a rematch,,,,if it was any other crowd besides New York the only boos would be at Cotto for the low-blows...and yall know it....
Zab was very limited...he was cautious to go to the body cuz he didn't want to lose a point in case he did a low blow accidental...cuz it would have seemed like retaliation (spell check on that)
And he couldn't complain to Yoel with all the cameras in his face...
At the interviews you can tell Zab was hesitant to express himself about the low blows cuz that New York crowd is all about Cotto on Puerto Rican Day Parade....
And the Ref seemed like he was only talking to Zab...having conversations with him throughout the whole fight setting Cotto up for a L Hook....
Zab should get a rematch...he wasn't making excuses...for once he told the truth But it was not unlike the Little Boy Who Cried Wolf.
This thread will never die.
Good stuff. :beerchug:
All Zab deserves is a rematch.
sidenote:
Those guys really hurt each other.. I would be extremely proud of them both if they get back in there.
It was a beautiful thing to see them both so busted up and raw-exposed when they spoke at the post fight..
Those guys have always liked each other and still do. :fing02:
That fight was CLASSIC!
This is also something else that I understand as a person who has competed in fighting sports..
Cotto apologized to Zab first thing because it was SIGNIFICANT and Miguel knows how much it helped him.. Cotto and Zab know the truth.

The first thing either fighter wanted to address at the podium after the fight were the low blows.. The first thing.
Our perception of what seemed significant doesn't always match up with what the fighters tell us when it's over.
This time it did.

OK the first low blow was still on the belt, most referee's call these shots legal. The second was right on the ding dong tho and probably hurt like a MOFO! This may or may not have affected Zab for a round or two but if it really was an issue I dont see Zab not constantly complaining and maybe his dad stopping the fight. For him to make an isssue of this again and again is pretty weak considering what he did to Mayweather which from my observations was m ore likely a retaliation punch.
What it boils down to isn't that the Low Blows cost Judah in the later rounds.. but at that moment in that short window for both of the low blows Zab was having fairly good rounds. It's not an excuse for Zab losing but it doesn't make a case for bad luck.
In that sense, any moment of a fight can be an outcome changer so it's impossible to say that it didn't effect the fight as a whole. Would it effect the final outcome as to who won? Nobody can say.
You make some excellent points.. Great stuff. :beerchug:
As Boxing fans we all know how important those situations are where fighters get hurt, and how much of a difference having even just seconds to rest can change the course of a fight..
People can call it what they want to - but it was genius of Diego Corrales to spit out the mouth piece during the 10th of his war with Castillo on those KD's..
It most likely won him the fight.
Judah was robbed of his opportunity to finish by the first low blow.
Anyone who is being even REMOTELY honest would admit that..
Did the hole in his face and cut on his eyebrow (from a deliberate butt) affect Cotto? No.
Enough of the excuses.
dude your avatar is some funny shit, Im surprised you didnt start a Sin rant.
it hurts when i get hit in the nuts....
like i cant breath...like it makes u feel like u have to shit and piss but theres no shit and piss to shit and piss...stomach all hurts....and you know what else hurts when u get hit in the nuts?....the nuts hurt when you get kicked in the nuts
BTW i tried to find Cotto fights on youtube just now besides the one against Zab...there aren't any...maybe cuz he low blowed everyone...

cotto uses illegal punches in almost every fight i've seen and ive seen them all. all. i think cotto would still be good if he followed the rules of boxing but then again i dont think anyone has ever told him the rules after 30 pro fights so i give him a pass.
Funny you say it now after his 30th fight.
I figured you as a different type of poster to point that out twice.
I'm not going to refer to a post of yours ever again if it makes you this angry. You're such a tough guy Addison, Mr. Hollywood and all.
I wouldn't want to make a tough guy like that mad.
You are acting like a fucking punk, sir.
How should I treat you?
You don't want to address the argument or the facts..
You want to get personal and call people "nut-huggers." :lol1:
I know.. I know.. You're safe at home behind the keyboard.
I know. :fing02:
