Judah said from the podium of the post fight press conference saturday that Mosley vs. Mayweather is almost done and that they will fight.
Can't wait if this is legit. :fing02:
Addy, how we going to handle our business? What's your brand new opinion of cotto?
It's been challenging to talk about this fight at every turn because so many of the fellas who favor Cotto are serious fans. I try to factor that in.
I think he's a much more impressive and talented fighter than before. :fing02:
Miguel Cotto is a complete and total destroyer.
I was impressed with how durable and ruthless he was.
........Before Cotto even fully placed his body in the chair at the post fight press conference he had one thing on his mind.
Low blows.
The first thing he does is apologize to Judah for the fouls.
I found that a little troubling.. Does it imply something? Sure. :fing02:
He wants to talk about low blows?... OK.
I'm saddened that the situation is being marred by this fouling issue..
It doesn't give Cotto his proper due, and some will say the jury is still out on Miguel because it caused an unkown.
We're not saints and holy men - the thing stinks to alot of folks. (not me)
At least one journalist here at BoxingScene (AS) thinks Cotto would have lost had he not thrown the low blows.. For me it's a bit of a replay of the Trinidad vs. Vargas fight. But only really because I was betting on the guy that got fouled, again..
I've come to terms with the fact that history will remember both that Cotto won, and that he threw and landed some of the most vicious low blows in the history of the sport.
Was it an accident?
I haven't tried to get into that myself because I already know the answer.
I don't need to bounce it off people to understand what happened.
Does it make a difference?
Again, no need to ask anyone. I already know.
Is it really true Miguel did the same thing to Torres and Corley?..
That I should ask. :drillserg
I'll keep waiting for one Cotto supporter to ackowledge that getting hit in the testicles multiple times by the "hardest body puncher in the sport" can do all sorts of bad things to your body and mind.. Just one.
Most of what I've heard are people trashing Judah for being a "pussy" and giving a "performance".. Why someone would flop on the canvas in the first round after hurting the other guy just moments previous is beyond me..
We all saw the second shot. That was right on the pecker.
Did these fouls take away Judah's legs and overall reflexes?
Tell me, Baya.. Did they?
Then there's this issue with the endswell.. :lol1:

I think this is best fight for Mayweather because if he does win the fight he will earn himself alot more respect then if he was to beat DLH again!!! Shane wont make it easy on him thats for sure!!! Shane is alot better then Zab and would be alot tougher to beat then DLH was!!! His defence might not that of floyds but his attack is better then floyds!!! Not an easy fight for either fighter!!! still i think floyd will edge shane out Ud!!!
Mosley is not the type of fighter to beat Mayweather...
Mayweather is gonna lose to a heavy pressure fighter like Cotto, Margarito, Hatton, etc...remember how he did against Castillo?
You can't outbox one of the greatest boxers of all-time. You have to come at him, cut the ring off, and punish him any chance you get, while taking some light blows in the process.
exactly, thats why mosley v. mayweather isnt even an intriguing fight IMO, it would be an easy UD for floyd
THis fight ain't gonna happen. If it does then i'll be happy, but Mayweather is in for a big fight. Very dangerous fight. Mayweather ain't gonna dominate shit, just like many though he would dominate De La hoya.. Enough of that shit.

I see any of the three fighters I mentioned him above giving him a HELL of a fight, I now see Cotto winning. Didn't before the Judah fight.
Floyd has to make a decision on his belt soon, so I guess we will know for sure then.
Nah, you know that doesnt matter to Floyd. He has reached the level where he can basically fight anyone he wants so even if he gives up his belt, he can just fight the other guys for theres
yeah alot closer, 116-112. mosley of 5 years ago i'd give a legit chance to win. i stretched with the score but the point is - floyd is going to win comfortably and without controversy. UD
If he beats Shane people will say Shane was over the hill. Before May 5th many on this forum picked Oscar to win, and then when Floyd beat him they said Oscar was old.
If they fight I think it would be closer than 117-111 lol.
And it will help Floyd's legacy. I am not a Floyd fan whatsoever, but it will be nice to see him start padding his resume with these types of fights. These types of tests will determine his all time great status.
mosley doesnt stay focused once you start hitting him in the face, and floyd will do exactly that. mosleys defense is leaky at best. i love shane but he won't win more then a few rounds
i like mosley but mayweather will dominate him. mosleys defense is leaky and floyd will pick him apart. i dont understand why people think mosley has this great chance to beat floyd, sure hes athletic and has skills but so did zab judah. mosley just isn't on floyds level.
117-111 floyd UD
I disagree on your scorecard. I see it being closer than that.
But, I agree w/PBF winning strongly.
If they met when SSM was like 135 I'de have to say Mosely though. Hes older now and taken some beatings.
PBF/SD
I've been waiting for this fight and it prolly will happen.

117-111 floyd UD
but mosley stays focused,is more determined and has more heart then zab judah
no way. i'll bet everything i've got that he dominates mosley without much trouble. once someone hits shane he breaks down mentally and hes finished. shane is so easy to hit that floyd will have a field day with the right hand, and shane will fall apart because hes being hit. easy UD for floyd
of course mayweather wins but I think Mosley wouldn't do too bad against mayweather though .....
This will be a harder fight for mayweather than the Oscar fight.
