Zab is a classless bum!

I wouldn't doubt that the low punch had an effect on Zab. Why would he be so quick to want a rematch and for it to be in Puerto Rico (doubt it's money, no one wants to take that beating twice)?? He must have been confident enough at one point to think he had a legit shot at winning until the low punch took him out of the zone. I for one wouldn't mind seeing it again. Anyone disagree? I'll be the first to give Cotto his props for the big win. But I do think that the low hits did have an effect on Zab. The second one was especially hard. Although I don't think that was the deciding factor of the fight. Cotto looked real good.

Question: What's the first line of self defence for a woman for 300 Alex ? Answer: low blows . I'm sure the low blows did have an effect on how well Zab was able to fight in the later rounds ,but low blows are just part of the sport. I bet every boxer that ever lived has had to deal with fighting after a low blow, some are able to overcome some are not. If the low blows had as much effect on the outcome as he says then what does that say about Zab ? Does this show a lack of heart or will power ? Is this inability to overcome what has turned a man who by all acounts should have become a all time great boxer into a good but never great one ? Zab has been taking a lot of "low blows" as of late and maybe it's time that he take some time off look deep down into himself and find out where he wants to go from here . He has fought some good oponents in the last two years and should take a rest and comeback for a few tune ups, maybe after that we will see super Zab again.

I remember being hit in the nuts and its never the best feeling in the world and i would hardly say that low blows had no effect on the fight!!!

It definately reminded me of how Vargas looked in the later rounds against Trinidad.. Same exhaustion, same unsturdy legs.. And of course that could only be a result of a low blow? His exhaustion had nothing to do with the fact that he was currently in a war? and his unsturdy legs had nothing to do with the fact that he'd absorbed a bunch of clean shots to the chin from one of the most vicious punchers of all time? your an idiot if u think those low blows didnt affect zab both physicaly and mentally 1st round what happened? cottos comes in like always zab shuffles away and back in and lights up cotto about 5 different times then round 2 comes the low blows start and rest of the round zab was more moving back tryin to regain his legs but he begins to get back in the zone then next round again cotto accidentally lands another viscous shot to the nuts from then on zab was much more weary of cottos shots and not for good reasons rest of the fight zab rely ed much more on one shot my opinion cuz hed been hurt physicaly from the low blows and of course as a result from those cotto being able to land more this fight only further more secured cotto as the next tito trinidad and all boxing fans know why when the fight gets tough the hooks stray and not even kinda stray some of the nastiest most viscous low blows It definately reminded me of how Vargas looked in the later rounds against Trinidad.. The title of your thread alone lets us all know who the real classless bum is, and it sure as hell isn't Zab. If I hit you in the nuts twice, assuming you actually have any, I promise, you will quit doing whatever you were doing, and you won't get up after 1 minute like Zab did - you will still be laying there after 10 minutes....

1. The low blows most likely did effect him but I don't think it would have changed the ending result, cuz Zab just stopped throwing, and failed to try to stay on the outside and duck and make Cotto miss 2. Zab is definentely NOT a bum 3. Show Zab respect. He and Cotto put on a great fight. Better than Mayweather-DLH and I think best fight of the year. Zab took the worse beating of his career, and didn't run like a bitch or quit.

Zab could have beat him and I woulda liked to see it. But in my mind and considering Zab is known to slow down after 6-8, I though cotto would stop him around 8...sooo. Low blows can take the fight out of ya. There was alot too.

You know whats funny? The ppl who were rooting against cotto are the only ppl complaining about low-blows. I counted 5 low blows. It can definitly effect a fighter and might have effected Zab. Cotto did bring the fight and fought strong. Zab is not a bum...period.
