repying to the subject, ther is no time, instead of sitting down on a computer posting on forums a boxer should concentrate watching videos, health shakes, and his training.....there is no time for that....
Also, with some very notable exceptions, many boxers are not exactly known for their great intellects or computer literacy.

Well that may be a little bit unfair, but indeed most are not that well educated. I think there's probably a lot who look at forums etc or post without giving away who they are.
I think you have to be very careful what you write or even what you respond to if you’re an athlete, official, or anyone else connected with the sport other than a fan as it could easily be misconstrued. Thus, anonymity is often the best option when posting on a board.
that's true.
if boxing scene had alot of money, they should be able to pay a boxer to come here and answer questions before fights
that would be a good idea.
There has been a few people on here that it wouldn't surprise me one bit if they were a big star or had some sort of connection to one .

Boxingscene doesn't have alot of money because the website is free to members! There are boxers here, ya just have to find them...

only something like people ? lol unusual statement
I ment I don't remember what went on but I think it was that some people were talking trash and ran him off .
I was told a long time ago that Roy Jones stopped in but something like people were talking trash and didn't think it was really him so he stopped posting.
But no one has ever shown me a link so who knows .

but not on a boxing forum..
i mean who knows. :dunno:
I think, like Brooklyn said, boxers probably do it 'incognito.' I mean, who's gonna believe a poster who says he's Wlad Klitschko, Floyd Mayweather, or James Toney?...:dunno:

Just in case, when Wladimir Klitschko was asked about his prepatation for a Brewster rematch, amongst all other things he mentioned spending most of his free time either admiring beauty of Switzerland(or wherever he is) and being "on internet"but not on a boxing forum..
i mean who knows. :dunno:
I've noticed that alot of fighter's public relations people post on this forum. Pantera, Vanes Martirosyan, Audley, and others all have some posters here 'touting' them...
nah, boxers like floyd and toney and such don't come to forums, they have too much money, too many companies in the real world, they dont have time for the internet, and back in their days they didnt have no boxing forums so im sure they would be not interested in one. :dunno:
Someone posted a pic a while back of James Toney sitting at his computer desk so i'm sure he check out what people are saying about him from time 2 time .
Promoters for sure would, just so they can see who the fans are into and what match ups would make the most money .
It'd not like they would come here for advice but i'm sure they ceck to se4e if they are being misquoted and such.
