I have no doubt Zab will start off very well in this fight maybe even puting Cotto to the deck but things are going to get tough in their and Zabdiel simply does not respond well in the squared circle when things get hot.
Around round 6 or 7 Cotto's pressure will begin to become apparent, he bodwork will begin to pay off and leave Judah with two choices.
1) Stand and fight
or
2) Run
We have never seen Zab for any sustained period of time stand and fight, we have seen him run. The first choice will get Zab iced but with that he will earn the repsect of many boxing fans that dont particularly repsect him at this point.
Option 2 Will result in an embarrassing UD loss and the total evaporation of any respect anywhere for him as a true fighter.
(Can anyone smell a poor mans version of Trinidad vs. Oscar-a bit different circumstances I think but something along the lines of Zab early and then when things get tough as Larry Merchant would say his fight plan turning into a flight plan)
One other thing-for Zab fans sure he can catch Cotto early which with his speed and southpaw stance is almost a given that he connects with Cotto's chin...FIRST SIGN INDICATOR of how this fight will go is when Zab does sit down and land that straight left WHAT HAPPENS?
Zab needs to be able to stop Cotto with that punch dead in his tracks, he needs to be able to stun him with that shot. If he can do this and do it consistently then hell we are in for an interesting fight down the stretch if Cotto can last that long.
If Cotto walks thru a picture perfect left hand early then mark it down right then and there....FIGHT OVER.
Zab can only swim at the shallow end of the pool. If Cotto takes him deep, well you know the saying. "If that nigguh can't swim then he bound to drizzound"
If Judah puts Cotto on the canvas with more than 30 seconds left in the round, he'll finish him. If he doesn't manage to knock him out early, he'll be TKO'd late himself. I'm going with Judah, before 6, KO/TKO. Cotto will try trading (he's young enough to have a stupid streak) and will pay for it by losing that 0.
Damn you guys are trippin. Ur talkin as if Zab has no chance. Cotto couldn't hurt Urkal. He did get Quintana I can't lie. We don't know if Cotto can hurt Zab. Zab is faster than Urkal and Quintana.
If you think this is a cakewalk for Miguel Cotto I think your buggin out.
i agree with the above assessment. for weeks now, I've been wanting to smoke whatever people who picked zab in tommarrow's bout are smoking.
....I agree with both of you and I would like to add the following. This is the most I have been in agreement with Scap since we were out at the bars and he and I both agreed that we would rather fuck the thick waitress with her ass crack and back tattoo hanging out as she bent over than the skinny chicks standing nearby.
Zab is to fast and powerful for Cotto.. he can pressure him and be quicker, or he can stalk him and be faster, Cottos offense is his defense and that wont work with a determined Judah who can either counter or attack, I think Cottos best shots are Hooks and the straight Zabs are more accurate 1-2s straight to the mouth, Cotto is in for a working tmrw and will be domainted and eventually stopped... Shit we might see a Tzsyu-Zab 2 only Cotts Zab.....
YO IF JUDAH LOSES< IM GONE I WANT COMEBACK BAN ME
you're an awful judge of character, you're putting that ... on zab?? you're gone homes.

I have always been a huge Judah fan for some reason. I take the Kellerman route because I was caught up in his hype big time and predicted a Tzyzu thrashing on another board and took a beating following it. Something about him has always made me like him. He is a disturbing case of underachievement and I have started to think of him as a Small Riddick Bowe. He probably had or has more raw talent than anyone in the sport at one point. He just has the wrong attitude and maybe has too big an ego for his own good.
This time I really think he steps it up and dominates Cotto. I don't even see it being close and he will expose what Cotto management has been hiding matching him against weak punchers as of late. Judah will finally show his mettle by staying focused and showing his true talents.
Keep in mind this is a similar prediction to the Kostya fight. So you may want to drop coin on Cotto.
