On his very own 'best of boxing' dvd, now available in a 'bargin bucket' near you,
Fat Frank Warren says
"I dont say im the best, i just deliver" :ugh:
Why doesnt he deliver this then? the fight would do huge numbers on ITV, mainly cos most people know there is no way the fight goes 12 rounds.
It was said that Warren could have made the fight happen but apparently he tried to play games by slipping a clause into the contract which would give him options on other haye fights.
I think this would be a good british fight, perhaps the best that can be made right now.
And haye Knocks Mac out cold also.
Haye wont be able to make weight at cruiser, Haye vs Macca at heavyweight...
Haye wins at HW. Enzo wins at CW. Haye's the flashier fighter but I suspect Enzo has the better chin and is the harder hitter at CW. They'll both get through but Enzo's will be decisive. Different game at HW though - Haye is naturally about 20 lbs bigger I suspect and that will make a huge difference. I think Haye could go a long way in the HW ranks although I do suspect him packing a bit of glass to go along with a dodgy defence - not a good combo.
It's fantasy boxing anyway as they won't meet. Haye will go up to HW after the Mormeck fight, as he should have stayed there after the Bonin bout.
Oh, and who said that was a technically cack fight? I thought Enzo was technically very good on the front foot at least. Not so great on the back foot especially in defence although he did get the KD via an excellent counter. Braithwaite went headhunting once he knew he was going to be outboxed.
He won't have a chin if he goes up to heavy-weight. Thats my opinion. Once he steps his game up and takes on some big known names in the heavyweight division, he will hit the canvas.
We'll find out after after his next fight.
Why? So, he can beat more heavy weight bums and avoid boxers like klitschko? Haye is not a heavy weight boxer material.
He's only had ONE fight at HW and the guy he KO'd in 1 round was ranked 12th by the WBC. You may think Haye shouldn't fight at HW, but he needs to step up because making the Cruiserweight limit is getting very difficult for him. He has two options - go up to HW or retire.

He's moving up because he is big at Cruiser and has the power to transfer to Heavy. He could easily be the best Heavy out there in a few years. He's very young, packs a punch and has lightening hands for a Heavy.
He has stated that his goals in boxing are to win the WBC Cruiser and then the WBC Heavy straps and retire.
Hopefully he was talking shit as that's a poor goal. He should be aiming to unify in the long term.
compag to lifestlye Haye could probably end up going down the drain. but Enzo has a good working enviroment with his father a boxing gym owner and his trainer the great Enzo Calzaghe
i am not sure i think that enzo's power is a bit over rated
Maybe. He definitely DOES have power though and there are still questions over Haye's chin.
ATTENTION: Im certain this is how everything will plan out for this fight to happen.
1: Haye fights mormeck in sep and wins the wbc and wba cruiserweight belts
2: Enzo beats cunningham on the undercard of kessler vs calzaghe for the ibf cruiserweight belt.
3: Haye vs enzo with WBA, WBC, WBO, IBF titles all on the line, FUCKIN HELL WHAT A FIGHT.
But of course, haye will be too quick and slick for enzo, haye will stop the fight in the mid rounds.
I dont see Haye taking Enzo's shots for too many rounds, its just a matter of whether his speed and power can knock him out first or not.
I think Haye is far more skilled than enzo, but enzo looked good in this fight, Braithwaite was cack and just lunging the whole time, im not sold on enzo yet, cruiserweights isnt a great divison so it may be a while before we see him get in the ring with a proper fighter.
Still probably Haye. I didnt think that the fight was technically cack, it was okay.
I'd like to see the two meet, but personally I'd rather wait until they both get to the top position they can make. That'd be a big night for British boxing.
haye vs enzo would be one of the top-5 matchups id be interested to see in any weight class... too bad it will never happen, well maybe someday at heavyweight
