Taylors lost hunger

Could Taylor get himself motivated for a fight against Calzaghe,Hopkins,Wright or Kessler??

If he was to retire now he'd have left no kind of legacy. He'd just fade fast.

The thing about Taylor is people keep waiting for good things to happen with him,but it never does,i think we are all begining to recognise this and IMO as soon as he loses the belt,people will forget about him I don't know if he will be forgotten, but your right were all waiting for him to become that huge superstar that everybody wants to see fight because he has great abilities, but we all maybe are wrong.

If Jermain was running around chasing Spinks and missing people would have said he looked like shit.

Hell yeh Porlie... That was Taylors fight to Shine! No one looks good against cory but Taylor could of looked at least half decent lol Judah has done it! you would expect a guy bigger then Sprinks and the so called p4p this and that to be able to at least damage cory in the fight.. It was an awful performance and once again underlined the fact that Taylor really aint got no heart for the sport

Hes not terrible by the way hes fight though, hes not making himself look good at all. He should have came out all guns blazing against Spinks thats why I think his hearts not in it anymore.

he is the champ and he want's to look good....and isn't taking as many risks as he did before he was champ... i hope he comes back strong and get's some nice ko wins....:( i'm a huge fan but his last fight was..... Disqusting i'm waiting for the old taylor to come back

Taylor has all the natural ability in the world i just don't think he has the smarts to figure out how to use his ability or understand simple directions.

yeah he might of lost hunger or he might not be a professional, meaning he fights to the level of his competition he might not be able to get up for a ouma fight or spinks fight. Kinda like me if i missed those fight i wouldn't care but i got to see the fight u know will be competitive...i need spellcheck ugh

It seems to me like he's lost his hunger. His has great athletic ability, but his skills seem not to be improving. With his athletic ability you would think he would be able to improve, but thats not been the case. He gots the big dollars now and it looks like he's just fighting good enough to win even if it's by the slimmest of margins so he can stay in that million dollar range for his fights. Taylor will have to get himself out of that frame of mind. Sooner or later it'll catch up with him and he'll get beat.

I think Taylor is a good fighter, but not a good boxer... He really doesn't seem to know what to do, when the other guy doesn't want to engage with him. He fights more like a Cruiser Weight than a middleweight.

Yeah I always thought most fighters wouldve been fight fans aswell but I remember seeing Earnie Shavers doing an after dinner speech and my mate asked him who was his fave fighter and what was his fight of all time and Shavers replied I dont really follow boxing never really have but I'd go for Sugar Ray as my favourite fighter but couldnt pick a favourite fight. Everyone was abit taken aback as we all thought he'd follow the sport.

Once he's in with the right opponent he'll look a lot better.

Yes i think he has,I remember the Sky team saying Taylor said in a interview hes in boxing to make money and feed his kids,he said he isnt a big fan of the sport,he got asked who his favorite fighter and fight was,Taylor said he dont know,he never used to watch boxing,that pretty sums it up for me Wow. I don't know what the fuck his problem is......If anything from his disputed 1st win over Hopkins to his narrow second win and than his pure luck draw with Winky, you would think the guy would have more hunger and fire to prove himself worthy than ever.....but for some reason he does'nt.He will be KOed hard soon just wait and see.....maybe that will wake his ass up. Rae, I think the Winky and Hopkins fights may have screwed him up mentally. You know what I mean? Three extremley taxing fights like that. And two tough fighters like Nard and Winky, that can take alot out of a young fighter. I don't know if this is the case I'm just thinking...
