Only you would claim a victory due to an inaccuracy over Jermain Taylor's P4P ranking in a debate arguing that it would be fair for SOME PEOPLE to claim that Joe Calzaghe defeating Hopkins/Wright and Taylor would have meant that the two top names on his resume were of a higher quality than the two top names on PBF's current resume. You can see that, right? The argument never has been or will be about Taylor's placement. It is thus: "COULD you argue that Calzaghe defeating Taylor and Hopkins would mean that he has defeated two fighters better than anyone Floyd Mayweather has fought?" Mik - Yes, you COULD. Technical_Skill - No. That is utterly inarguable. To argue that would be to claim that Calzaghe is the better boxer than Floyd. Has better skills than Floyd. Has a better legacy than Floyd. Is a greater all-time fighter than Floyd and has accomplished more in his career than Floyd has. I can see why you are latching on to the Taylor argument...because there is no fucking way anyone in their right mind would possibly agree with your argument. You just dont get it. You latch on to insignificant things in order to disguise the fact that you just have no argument at all. My argument has been that if Calzaghe beats two guys who have been prevalent in top 10 P4P list for much of past few years...then it is arguable that his top victories are better than PBF's top victories. You evidently realise that you cant argue against that, so you look to pull inaccuracies out of other things in order to win a completely different argument. Just admit that Calzaghe beating Hopkins and Taylor may to SOME PEOPLE be (without them being wrong) more significant than the top victories that PBF has had. You go around in circles and circles just to avoid admitting that you are wrong. I dont give a fuck if I am wrong about Taylor not being P4P number 1 when he beat Hopkins, I genuinely genuinely dont. My source was evidently not reliable and I dont have an infinite knowledge of the Ring magazine's top lists. However, as it was only a very very minor point of my argument, it makes very little difference to me whether it was right or wrong. You on the other hand seem to be deciding that because Taylor WASNT P4P number 1 after beating Hopkins, that somehow you are completely right about the fact that (to paraphrase your point): ANYONE who claims that Calzaghe beating Hopkins and Taylor would mean that he'd beaten two better fighters than Floyd Mayweather's top two victories is not only wrong...but are in fact claiming that Calzaghe has a better legacy than Mayweather, has achieved more than Mayweather, is a better boxer than Mayweather, raped Mayweather's mother, deserves a higher placing on the all-time-great list than Mayweather etc etc etc. Which frankly, is utterly ridiculous.

But Mayweather is a top 20, possibly top 10 all-time fighter, it'd be hard to better him. Anyway, back to the topic - anyone no anymore about this? have Palle responded yet.
