Sports Illustrated has released their 2007 "Fortunate 50" list, which breaks down 50 of the top-earning American athletes. Oscar De La Hoya came in second and beat out dozens of athletes from basketball, baseball, football, golf and others. details]
Shes making all that money off of endorsments. She hasnt done anything major in golf yet.
If Mayweather would have taken that Jordan deal I bet he would be much lower on the list.
I cant belive two of the top 3 ar golfers. Thats crazy.
I know I expect Tiger on there, but Phil. He must have huge endorment deals. I guess I didn't notice. Then with the new won that BPP put up having Mayweather barely ahead of Wie, thats crazy as well. She has'nt even won a LPGA event yet I don't think. I like her and all, but it goes to show the money is to be made in the endorsement deals. Her and Natalie Gulbis probably make the most in the LPGA and they haven't even won an event yet.
De La Hoya Beats Shaq, A-Rod and Kobe
