Yeah, but you make it seem as if you said "speed = power" out of the blue.
You clearly said it as a counter argument against us people who said Floyd can't punch for shit.
Stop playing the word game.
You said floyd wasnt very powerful, i made an arguement which Kendall holt agrees with, that Floyd may be more powerful than people think, because when you hit someone repeatdly in the same areas with speed it tends to hurt.
Thats not playing the word game.
Doesnt matter, i never said floyd had more power than Haggler lol,
All i said was, speed equals power,
Floyds opponents often comment on how much powerful he was than they first expected,
and that Kendall holt says when someone hits you repeatedly in the same place with speed, the punches tend to hurt.
Thats all i said.

My question to you is:
If speed equals power (and we all know Floyd has alot of that), does that mean Floyd's ability to discourage fighters from throwing punches come from his power (mostly)?
This is now a completley different matter.
Do you still want an asnwer?
Yeah, but you originally said that shit based on us saying Floyd has no power.

You guys aint getting it, in terms of how this relates to boxing, i have not said this theory proves wether haggler hits harder than leonard, or not, all im saying is that speed= power, and that when someone hits you in the same place with speed repeatedly, it tends to hurt,
Talking about how much it hurts, or who hits harder than who, is another matter.
Thats all i said.
And about the above comment,
Does science have no place in a common sense arguement? lol.
Yeah, but you originally said that shit based on us saying Floyd has no power.
Malignaggi has faster hands than Cotto....
Who's punches are harder?

its not a case of force = mass x velocity
the amount of mass that a boxer incorporates into a punch through weight transference and pivotting will probably vary from boxer to boxer and would render this argument useless.
Then your going against scientific fact,
If Boxer A throws a punch at 100 mph,
And boxer B throws a punch at 50 Mph,
Which carries more force?
Its just science.
What carries more force, being hit by a 2 ton truck at 30 mph?
Or being hit by a Ford Fiesta at 75 mph?
I think in this case its the fiesta, hope im right.
which has more power, a punch from sugar ray or a punch from marvin hagler?

The boxer with a higher knockout percentage.
but by saying that, youre saying that the faster a punch is thrown, the more its going to hurt. im saying thats not true.

Case in point: Michael Moorer vs. George Foreman.
All i have said is that speed equals power, thats all, the above is another topic.

It's all in his defensive abilities and how difficult he is to hit.
That's the only reason why fighters think too much and fight too little against him.

It doesnt matter what you incoporate, speed equals power, thats a fact of science, no matter how you create that speed, using distance or not, speed equals power, and thats all i have have said.
About accuracy, if you read my post properly you would have noticed i said
"Ermm nope. Because speed equals power, its a scientific fact, the faster something travels, the more force it has, simple science, and thats all i have ever said, if someone hits you rapdily (depending on what you call rapid), and repeateadly in the same place, it tends to hurt."
The bit in bold is where i have accounted for accuracy in terms of how this relates to boxing.
Well Mayweather's speed equals power that has no effect on his opponents in terms of ending the fight early or making them get discouraged.
It's all in his defensive abilities and how difficult he is to hit.
That's the only reason why fighters think too much and fight too little against him.
