Jones is my favorite ACTIVE fighter, but, for someone who was worried / concerned about getting damaged if he stayed on too long, or took too many risks, he sure is squeezing everything he can out of his body now. How many times have we seen many of the greats hang on too long and tarnish their record and legacy with losses at the twilight of their career that they would have destroyed these same fighters earlier when the were fresh... Whatever he does, I wish him the best.

I'm a HUGE RJJ fan and I agree, the man needs to hang them up pronto and save his legacy!! For the cats that say he should take on Heavy's again, maybe i'm drunk, maybe you are joking, BUt if Roy's chin got touched these days any even an average heavyweight it'd shatter into a million pieces! let the man retire, his gifts are gone and his career has ended, hope he sees this soon as we his fans saw it as soon as Johnson killed him years ago!!!!

If he would stop acting like a prima donna and stop skipping press conferences, meetings, etc. Show some humility and respect the sport that made him he might get a shot a lot quicker. I'm surprised the two knockouts didn't teach him some respect. If he doesn't get a shot in the next 1 - 2 years he needs to give it up.

You guys have to give a former pound for pound king some more credit, even if he is on the decline. Jones looked pretty good last year against Ajamu and the Prince is a tough guy who recently won a title I believe. Give the guy a break and let's wait and see what he will do against the tough Hanshaw, if he looks good it could mean that his body might have recovered after the traume he put it in, but still, he is getting up there and will have to make his move really soon. If all the stars are alligned, we could easily see Jones winning a belt and going out as a champ which would be great to see him do so.

He can easily get a belt in cruiser to make more history. And as for title shots at light-heavy.. A guy like Clinton Woods is tailor made for him.. He would school erdei too.. So yes there is title shots im sure he can get and win.

if he gets by hanshaw, theres no doubt in my mind that roy will get some sort of title shot.

he could probably win a title, but at heavy, the heavyweights are shite at the moment he should see it as a golden opportunity i was just thinking the exact same thing
