why dont all boxing fans come together and create a brand new organization. The fighters should have to sign a contract to this organisation meaning they would only be able to fight in this organization. There would be one champion per weight and every 12-16 weeks there would be tournament where the champion has to fight the number 1 contender. If you beat a guy, you then take his place in the rankings. We should ditch all these stupid WBC, WBA, WBO etc etc titles If even one top guy decided to switch to this organization, i`m pretty sure the rest would follow...and boxing would make alot more money with one champion and decent fights and cards every few months.

I like it but it will never happen. Boxers right now are content on the amount of money they are making. I don't know what the big name fighters think about the state of boxing but I know they are still making a lot of money. I like the idea though. The only problem I see is the tournament. People have been trying to organize tournaments forever but it never really works. As for the "fan's commission" I'll pay a dollar.

I was with it totally until i read the doller charge lolol It would take years for anything like this to get above board.. Keep the WBC,WBA,IBF and fuck the rest of it off.. I like unfication matches brings excitement.If u have one champ per division you will lose all that..

Didn't someone try this a few years ago ? There was a show tht had a pro wrestling like script to it where the boxers would only be paid based on wins, punches landed and ko's . It was like the XFL of boxing and must have crashed just as fast.

cool, i haven`t thought of a name, just an idea at the moment, if all the boxing fans who want to see boxing great again put $1 in, an organisation could be formed with the revenue...or, someone who already has a lot of money could do it with the fans backing.... the fans control the sport....if they supported it and didn`t buy ppv's from other shows, the fighters would have to support it too....
