I forget when the fight would have to take place if he did go through with it but Manny stated he needs at least 3 months to get his body back into fighting form. That's 3 months not training for a specific opponent. Then you top in the factor of at least 2months training for specific opponent and you got along wait. I'm sure he knew he wouldn't be in top form by the date required for the fight and had to back out on it. Dun forget, Manny's people have put contracts infront of Marquez in the past and it was Marquez who refused by obvious reasons. Manny with the attitude he has says, ok fuck him, I'll get bigger fish, Erik Morales. Dun for 1 minute think Manny is scared or gives a shit much about Marquez. He'll face him in a minute's notice once he's back in shape.
You also gotta realize that it wasn't Pacquiao's choice alone to step down, it was his camp as well. And Im sure Pac's camp knew that they weren't going to get Marquez because of the childish war between Arum and GBP. Look what happened when Pac was mandatory for Barrera, but instead, GBP f'd over Pac and have Marquez fight Barrera. De Ja Vu today. Also, GBP has been going on saying that more than likely they're gonna have a Barrera/Marquez rematch.
And to tell you the truth, we would've seen a Pac/Marquez rematch 2 years ago, but it was Marquez who turned down the rematch and wasted his talents on freakin Chris John for 30K.
You should have known by now that it's not Pac who backed off. It's Arum who selfishly thinks Marquez shouldn't receive the bigger purse.
2 years ago, Marquez's refusal to do a rematch was a different story. He himself turned it down outright, not his promoter.
If Pac sought Barrera, Morales, and by the way, he was the only "no-balls" who fought Marquez, do you think he'd really run scared of Guzman, Valero and Soto?
if pacquiao did what he should then he would rematch JMM then fight guzman
they would both beat him in my opinion, good choice pacman
Have you seen a shot of him in y-fronts, I don't think theres anything there
