Fighting Taylor now after that horrible performance in his last fight would make people think Joke is just handpicking opponents like he's done his whole career. I think Kessler is the biggest challenge out there for him (I would still make Joke a favorite) and I would give him the most credit just for taking the fight... Im just shocked you are still here. Calzaghe V Kessler will be a great fight and there cant be any excuses thrown out anyway both are the top 2 SMW there are..... If Joe dominates he dominated the next best SMW if Kessler wins he beat the best.. Fuck where they fight and where there from the fact remains there the 2 best in that division and the winner should fight the winner of Taylor v Pavlik!

Even if this gets signed (fingers crossed), there's always that fear of a Calzaghe hand injury in training that could kill the whole thing. So even if it's official, everyone would be wise to act like it's not until fight night.

Taylor will fight Pavlik, contrary to popular belief he does not run from anyone and Pavlik is his mandatory. If you watch the post fight press conference Lou Dibella was also keen on making this fight.

this is the only fight that makes sense in the SMW division. its the only fight these two fighters really have. and with their mandatories out of the way, there should be no reason for them not to fight each other.

Great fight and good matchup but win or lose Joe's going to get stick for this one.

Kessler will be dismissed as the robotic European with a padded record that he is when Calzaghe wins. If he didn't have the belts I'm not sure this would be worthwhile.
