I've been watching some old boxing videos lately and I have noticed that most of them rarely gets out of breath, and they can go 15-20 rounds easily..! I wonder what kind of conditioning and exercises they did back then because most present fighters gets tired when round 10 begins..

the old guys used to work out different - more focused on stamina, probably longer workouts, more cardio, they were less bulked up too, a lot less. also every championship fight was 15 rounds, being in shape for 15 rounds is a lot different than being in shape to go 12
My buddy of mine had some videos of Willie Pep, Henry Armstrong and Jack Johnson. It was really amazing to see how fighters back then were able to go that many rounds.

What fights?
Mostly all of the 15 round fights ive seen, whether they are thrilling wars or boring, have both fighters dying frome exhaustian in the end.
I mean, look at ALI-FRAZIER. Those guys were spent like nothing ive ever seen before. lol. It was the heart that kept them going strong
