Til I found out the tally of both guys opponents wins, while Miranda's fought better world class opposition, early in his career he fought a LOAD of stiffs- Mirandas opponents win/loss is 180 -170ish or something, Pavlik's is 494-275 or something like that. Pavlik fought much better opposition just not on the world level. He was overprotected unlike the Columbian who was 'fed' to abraham and green.
