I bet Bo Jackson would have been a hell of a boxer ....
Oh yeah Roy Jones might have been the best....
Ed 2 tall Jones should have stuck around a bit longer ....
I wonder if Jamal Mashburn's dad was a good athlete ....
Grant long's brother is prob better at basketball...
Yeah, I always mention BO when talking about athletes from other sports being possibly good at boxing.
BO was a "Freak of Nature" just like Tyson, except a bigger version: 6 1/2, 225+ pounds of solid rock muscle. BO was the toughest kid in the neighborhood, beating the shit out of people (which many would call, the "Bully"). He was a wild child for sure, just like Tyson, except unlike Tyson who started out being bullied by kids, BO did not know about that, unless you count his mom ass whooping him. BO killed pigs by pegging them to death with rocks = killer instinct/cruelty since they say if you kill animals for the hell of it, in such a way, you are one fucked up person. Although, killing somebody by stoning was a real popular act back in the day.
I know people will say, "Well he was fast with his feet, but how fast were his hands?” well, I have read that you run faster because you are able to move your hands just as fast. In addition, have you ever seen the man throw and hit a baseball?
What about his chin? Well, never saw him in a fight, but his neck and head size were incredibly big.
BO also did not seem to suffer from confidence issues. He also stated that he used to laugh when people would say he was the "Greatest Athlete" since he knew there is always someone out there better; this shows humility and the knowing that one must prepare himself ever time.
I will stop it at there, but check these videos out:
Highlights from career:
Arseno Hall show: talks about Tyson as well either in the first or second video
Part 2
Yea, he's probably the most athletic boxer of our generation, and probably the best too. He clearly beat a prime bernard hopkins and owned his division. The tarver fights late in his career dont hurt him much in my mind.

Jones is the best fighter of this Generation just gone, by far, in his prime he was untouchable, there isnt one fighter in our era i would pick against jones from 160-175.
And yes he probably was the most gifted athlete, the guy used to play basketball before world title fights, do all kinds of dances and shuffles in the ring, rap on the way to the ring.
lol, He's definatley missed,
showtime you know you need roy jones, we know you need roy jones, roy jones knows you need roy jones, sign him up.
Yes, he was very talented. It doesn't make sense that some people deny it.
Yeh its because of the Tarver knock out,i think the weight was the downfall for Jones, but regardless,he was one of the best
