I love that guys final thoughts.
I am gonna miss him sorely.
He talked about in the early 1900's, how boxing was dying and the question was asked, "Can Joe Louis save boxing?"
And that sometime in the future, the same question about some heavyweight will be asked.
He also said how popular the sport is worldwide, how a japanese fighter gets 60,000,000 viewers for his fights (anyone know who?), how crime ridden phillapino cities have zero crime when Pacquiao fights, and how 37,000 fans and 20,000 fans packed arenas for Calzaghe and Kessler respectively.
Great tribute to the sport of boxing.
i had the final 116-113 for oscar
what do you guys think and this is after the replay
are you fucking retarted?
people seriouisly need to learn how to score fights.
I had it this way
1: Floyd
2: Oscar
3: Either way
4: Oscar
5: Floyd
6: Floyd
7: Oscar
8: Floyd
9: Floyd
10: Floyd
11: Either Way
12: EIther way
Overall I thought Oscar was very competitive throughout watching it again but that Floyd was a close but clear winner. I can see how someone could have scored the fight a draw if they gave all the close rounds to Oscar. I fail to see how anyone could have scored it for Oscar.
i had floyd edging oscar by a round last sat but after watching the replay, i had it a draw.
floyd's greediness was in full glory when he suggested a rematch w/ oscar and didnt mention any other fighter. he only cared where the money was, not his legacy. he won, but he was more eager about a rematch than oscar was.
Anybody else want to see it again? I do the hype was great and I really enjoyed watching the fight. I like how they got personal with 24/7 it was really fun to watch. I think they should do it again it would still do great numbers. And it could be an even better fight than the first.

thats rediculous. same score as last time, 116-113 for mayweather
i also liked how he also said we dont need a dlh-pbf 2.
I agree. I wouldnt want a rematch. More worrying about how the fight could be a complete bore.
i do think that if there was a rematch, it could be a much better figh though. Oscar now knows what he has to do and that includes a lot more moving.
Anyway, that conclusion by Merchant basically sums up all his conclusions, and that was that he truly cares about the sport and is constantly reminding the fans that boxing is here to stay.
after watching the fight and all the stuff since then I've come to the conclusion that Mayweather was fake in 24/7 and all his interviews. You would think after the fight that he and Oscar were boys.
it was fake he was not even taunting oscar about beating him, jus hype to sell tickets.
