Public interest and money will be there to see a Floyd vs. Mosely fight. After his "retirement" his fame and demand will grow making this fight even bigger, hypothetically for next Spring. If he doesn't fight Mosely, the rest of the best at 147 will stage some epic and great fights, Cotto vs. Judah, Williams v. Margarito, Cintron v. Mathysse, Mosely v. Williams/Margarito winner. Then you throw in Berto, Hatton (maybe) and others into the mix and some great fights will take place over the next year/year and a half to build up this division. The guy left standing has a big enough name to lure Floyd back in the ring...did I also mention petential $$$$ to be made.
He is simply taking a page out of De La Hoya's book, look how big De La Hoy'as fights have been since he started taking the long layoffs and keeping everybody guessing on his next fight.
