The fight will be a tactical cat and mouse game, similar to the Hopkins-De La Hoya fight in the first round. Both men have great feints and will try to get their man out of position. By the second round, Mayweather will start to feel with the left jab to De La Hoya's body, but Oscar will come up a little short with right hand counters. By the end of the second though, De La Hoya will land his first left hook, though it won't be solid. It will however make Floyd become more respectful. By the third, Floyd will continue to throw one punch at a time trying to get in and out, whereas De La Hoya will continue to try to land the jab and right hand, and will score from time to time with computer point shots.
By the fourth, Mayweather will start to assert himself more as De La Hoya slows down a little bit. Mayweather's confidence will begin to rise but De La Hoya's mere presence will prevent Mayweather from going in on him too aggressively. The fight will be even or De La Hoya will have a 4-2 lead on Lederman's card, but the fight will remain tough to score.
In the eighth, De La Hoya will land a serious left hook that he sets up with a random body assault. Mayweather will not wobble so much as he will fall in and try to gain a brief reprieve. De La Hoya will rally and appear on the verge of taking the fight over, but Mayweather will use his guile and maturity to hang in there. Mayweather will try to regain the momentum in the ninth, but he will be more wary than before. Oscar will take that close round. In the tenth, Oscar will slow down some, but Mayweather will be in Atlanta 1996 mode trying to win every round.
In the championship rounds, Roger will tell Floyd that he is in Oscar country on his show and needs to get down to serious business. Floyd will try to rally, but Oscar will do enough offensive posturing to stay in there tight. But Floyd will just be the man he always said he was and barely outfight Oscar to a decision.
The score will be 115-113 for Floyd on two cards, and 114-114 on the third.
Here is the official page for the contest, you can see the competition. Here is what the winner gets, sounds like it was worth it to me! I'll be giving most of this stuff away, but not for Technical Skill or his girlfriend Mike.

Why didnt you say this in the begining? thanks tho, pretty big of you considering some of the Assholes around here!
this fight will be won and lost on 2 things, Oscar being able to throw and land in combinations, which he is still very good at. Floyd being able to deal with adjust to the best jab he has ever seen. Prediction: DLH by a surprising Majority victory.
as a side note at what point did mayweather stop throwing in combinations? was it after the gatti fight?
Four score and seven years ago...
BTW, this contest is for tickets to Zab-Cotto, winner gets 4 tickets. Since I have no use for tickets in the NY area being as I'm in Florida, I'm giving them away. PM me if anyone is interested.
yo right here im about 3 hrs away from nyc
you think Mayweather will be gassed??????????? this is a joke right
not mayweather, oscar will be gassed after 6th, i know floyd can go 12, he always does. i thought everybody knew oscar has stamina problems
actually, i think this could be pretty close, i'd have oscar catching pbf a couple rounds earlier, after the 6th he'll be gassed
you think Mayweather will be gassed??????????? this is a joke right
Good predictions everyone!
A couple of months ago I would say that Mayweather would win an easy decison, but as im watching his training videos and DLH/PBF 24/7 has slightly changed my decision.
Possible stoppage in the fight?
By Floyd = 70%
By DLH = 30%
I favor Floyd with a higher percentile because of his speed. He can stun and get a quick stoppage due to his accuracy and speed causing the ref to step in.
DLH can get a stoppage but I seriously doubt it because of Floyd's defense and footwork. He will run away as soon as he is by the ropes.
My official prediction of the bout.
Possible KO in the fight?
DLH = 70%
Floyd = 30%
Many of ya'll are probaly like WTF? But it is what it is. If anyone is going to KO anyone, its going to be DLH. Oscar is the puncher in this fight. He is a natural 154 pounder while Floyd is moving up in weight from 147. Not to degrade Floyd on his power, but Oscar has faced harder hitters in his lifetime career and also can take a punch. Floyd doesn't possess power to outpower De La Hoya.
The fight...
The first round will start off with both fighters feeling eachother out Mayweather outlanding his jab to the face and to the body while moving alot. Round 1 will go to Mayweather.
As the fight goes on both fighters start to get comfortable and I see Floyd landing straight rights down the middle at DLH. At some point around the 5 or 6th round I see DLH capitalizing on Floyd's jab and throwing body shots that will lead to head shots for DLH backing up Mayweather towards the ropes and that's where DLH will score points and possible stun the pretty boy. Some rounds will be close to judge causing controversy later on in the night. Just watch and see what im talking about. I would say around the 9th round that De La Hoya will come with a combination from the body ending with a left hook to Floyd head causing the pretty boy to be in danger, Floyd will most likely take a knee in this fight. If not hit the canvas. Floyd is a very defensive fighter, but DLH has what it takes to penetrate the defense of the pretty boy. The beginning rounds being so close that DLH seems to get tired late in round 10, lowering his punching output while Floyd out jabs DLH. Floyd lands combinations at the end of the 11th that stuns DLH and the ref almost steps in to end the fight. The 12th round goes to Mayweather by a slim margin.
I would say the scores, but I tell you there will be controversy on cinco de Mayo.
(With a knockdown for DLH)
113-114 for Floyd
Floyd wins by SD but the crowd boos. Controversy on May 5th.

Nah, didnt find that funny.
It's a real shame, i dont mind your stuff,
But your obviously completley up your own ass to the point of orgasm. lol.
I dont think i've ever seen someone take himself so seriously,
To be honest dude, i think you done some cool stuff, but i aint gonna be a fan and lick your ass or visit your profile,
Like you visted my profile. lol.
I dont care about you or your shows, to me your the same as everyone else on here. lol.
You posted your prediction in a forum, a place of disscussion (and never mentioned that it was for a contest.)
Thus expect disscusion to be diverse, not just to back up your opinion.
Read through the thread and you will see not everyone agrees with you,
Dont resort to pictures and then quoting other people's posts like some kind of cheerleader, u wanna address me, address me no need for your bitches to fight your corner. lol.
This really isnt a big deal, doesnt need pictures, to explain this one.
I dont think predictions can be based on completley unfounded comments, such as, predicting what mayweather's trainers is gonna say in the fight. lol.
You didnt say it had to be creative.
Thus why i commented.
Hope you can learn to live with criticism.
lol.

I dunno, if he's laughing so hard at that, there has to be something going on behind the scenes that isn't kosher ya know.
It is a contest, and the idea is to use your creative thinking to come up with the most accurate and creative scenario. In my opinion, and apparently in that of others on this forum, it makes sense. If you don't like it, step out of the thread. If you want people to respect your opinions, respect others/
I got a better idea, if you dont like what i said, dont quote me on it then cry when i dont blow kisses up your ass.
It wasnt a personal attack on you, it was a general comment,
You obviously take yourself seriously to the point where you probably give yourself dirty looks in the mirror. lol
This is a forum, you gave an opinion, i gave mine, it was non personal.
Live with it.
lol ............

Well then, you must have a unique sense of humor because I didn't get the comedic value of a serious analytical statement. I bet you crack up watching that crazy C-SPAN stuff, those senators get wild, huh?:boobies:
To be honest, it wasnt just that,
It was also the idea of grown men having a posting competiton to see who has the 'most knowledgeable fans'

yes. It was funny.
Almost got a hernia trying not to laugh at this.

I know exactly what a trainer would think in the final rounds of a big fight against Oscar De La Hoya because every trainer says the same thing;
Almost got a hernia trying not to laugh at this.
Think about it, it makes sense.
mmmm. nope.
lol.
