I think hes gonna come in heavy as shit on fight night. Hes had problems losing weight and @ the 7-day safety weigh in he need to lose a little less than half of what he had to lose 30 days ago @ that weigh in. Its a problem.
Hopefully he wont come in so heavy that it hurts his speed.

Yes and No.
The prime and skill makes it yeah, but the weight and size kinda kills that argument.
You think that Oscar's weight and size advantage will overwhelm Floyd's skill?
how can you rate Hopkins above Mayweather in best pound for pound boxers? Mayweather is a much better fighter considering weight.
Hopkins was No. 1 p4p when Oscar fought him ...
Julio Cesar Chavez is one of the greatest fighters of all time. But, he was a completely worn out fighter by the time Oscar took him on.
At the point Oscar faced him, Chavez was no where near as difficult a task as the current day Floyd Mayweather. Julio was a faded bull, who was gonna go at Oscar- minus his former ability to put shots together, avoid shots coming in, & the ability to rsist those punches. Oscar is facing a young & incredibly gifted boxer, in Mayweather.
Chavez passed the torch to Oscar. He wasn't a dangerous opponent, however.
Id actully probably say yes here.
Whitaker was old and JCC has most certianly not accomplished more than Floyd.
p4p I think Floyd would beat Hop, and he fought Mosley at 147 and 154, where he was good, but not his best.
The question is ambiuous. POund for pound maybe. But 'pound for pound' is a load of shit. Bernard Hopkins was Oscar's toughest and his one unwinnable fight. Factoring wieght it goes something like this:
1. Hopkins
2. Shane at 147
3. Tito at 147
4a Whitaker
4b Mayweather at 154
6. Quartey
7. Sturm at middle
u missed JCC
floyd is the best fighter oscra has ever faced. what's with the skill level bullshit. floyd was a way better fighter than trinidad could ever be. he is more polished than mosley will ever be, and imo he is the complete fighter of his generation, more than hopkins. fuck the weight shit, that's getting old very fast. i'd say whitaker is 2nd to floyd but floyd is in his prime and sweet pea was past his to many people, but that's no excuse when he took the fight. floyd is the smartest fighter oscar will ever face, and oscar will not win this fight, trust me. overall, floyd is the best fighter oscar will ever face. mosley, trinidad, and hopkins would lose to floyd imo(of course at a reasonable weight). trinidad was schooled by dlh completely and floyd is a much better fighter than oscar is. mosley had good power and speed, but tended to throw sloppy punches a lot and still does. floyd is a much smarter fighter than shane will ever be. he is way more of a polished fighter, has better technical abilities. shane is overrated imo, he gets sloppy, an dfloyd woul dpick him apart with that bullshit. hopkins would be a good fight for floyd, and he may even be the favorite depending on weight, but in no way is he a better fighter than floyd, especially now. trinidad would be schooled like a kindergartener against floyd. trinidad wouldn't stand a chance again mayweather and you people know it. floyd is the best opponent oscar will have ever faced come may 5th.

Likely, based on Hopkins' track record.
