Corrales and Castillo, at the time and at the weight Floyd fought them, were, prior to this fight, the best opponents Floyd has faced.
This is NOW though and Oscar De La Hoya is far and away the best opponent Mayweather has faced. This is a fight at 154, a weight which could prove a step to far for Floyd.
My original pick was Mayweather via unanimous decision but the closer the bout gets, the more I'm leaning towards De La Hoya pulling out the win.
Well DLHs resume is better than anyone PBF has fought. So it is the biggest name for PBF. If DLH beats PBF then i suppose we will have to say DLH is the best PBF ever fought. A man who on the night was better than PBF.
yeah, well a haha and a fuck you to your response to it. now, let's see you respond to it with actual points if you disagree with it raaseed, whatever your dumb ass name is.
Whoa:damnit1:
:lol1: :lol1: @ this whole post......yeah, well a haha and a fuck you to your response to it. now, let's see you respond to it with actual points if you disagree with it raaseed, whatever your dumb ass name is.
No I guess your the expert with pbf in your sig I am sure you are gonna be completely objective. Your a joke for being so damn blind or refusing to recognize the truth. Castillo although very good at the time doesn't compare to what Oscar can bring to the table. Oscar is hands down the more complete fighter with more skill, but I'm sure you will come up with a million reasons to disagree. If you think that Castillo is anywhere close to Oscar you are the joke.wow, this was a great response, the old username fiasco from you to me again. read up little one, that username shit is played out, get over it. you cannot continue to argue that bullshit to me anymore, it's very predictable and gets you nowhere. i have given substantial amounts of reasoning to why i feel floyd will punish oscar, you just have a hard time arguing against them, so instead, you put that username shit in your posts against me, how original.
jai.....
I have news for you, I am not even that big a Floyd fan. I just think it is an awful stylistic matchup for Oscar deLaHoya. The YOUNGER Oscar had a ton of trouble with guys who could box (Whitaker, Carr, & in Mosley I), & now he is facing a guy who can almost match Whitakler for slickness, but is in his prime.
A young Oscar would have been frustrated by Floyd Mayweather. This older version......is in for the worst night of his boxing career.
I am being objective.....
You think Floyd can stop Oscar?

yeah, because you are the expert of the forum aren't you. you're a joke man. you need to stop posting. you don't know shit, and i voted no. i believe that castillo is the toughest opponent floyd has and will ever face. oscar is his biggest opponent, but he won't be his toughest, trust me, but it will be a great fight.:boxing:

Floyd is going to handle Oscar rather easily. It will be a "routine" performance. Guess what ? He's gonna be criticized for it !
You are an idiot if you think this is gonna be a routine performance that Floyd is just gonna coast through. This is the type of shit that pisses so many people off about some Floyd fans. It's fans like you that wear Floyd blinders. Learn to be objective and come with that dumb shit.
Depends on how much Oscar has left. If he's able to be 85% of his prime, then he is. he certainly has the best resume of any Floyd foe. However, the Castillo Floyd faced was and is a beast and a likely HOFer with a great resume himself. One has to wonder though if the Floyd fights made him better.
well sometimes not an opponenet with name would be the hardest for example for Jaun Daiz Frietas wasnt his hardest but a mexician unknowen who knocked him down.
So it differs from how you looks at it but I would say his the opponent who is the most famous and hyped

If anyone votes "No" they need to quit debating boxing.
That's a tell tale indicator they really don't know shit from shinola.yeah, because you are the expert of the forum aren't you. you're a joke man. you need to stop posting. you don't know shit, and i voted no. i believe that castillo is the toughest opponent floyd has and will ever face. oscar is his biggest opponent, but he won't be his toughest, trust me, but it will be a great fight.:boxing:
Let me interject with this.... We are judging all Floyd's opponents post fight, where we are judging Oscar pre-fight. I don't know that it matters much but we haven't seen which Oscar will show up on Sat night.
You know something i want this fight to be over with. Im getting tired with all the speculation with what people think will happen as if the fight is going to be really something special or something.
All i want to know is if PBF is gonna get his ass handed to him for the first time. It will probably be a rubbish fight knowing our luck.
