Theres alot of discussion on this,so lets settle this, who would win?
I personally think if its in America,Miranda would win over the judges and crowed with his agression and win a UD
Mentally, Abraham will be on his feet avoiding the big hurtful punches. He could make it a boring match and win by UD.
But Miranda will cut the ring and hurt Abraham, eventually knocking him out. The Referee will lift him up and start a long count and call time out to pull up Abraham's trunks, in case he's still in lala land. Then he'll speak to the judges and deduct 30 points from Miranda.
When the fight resumes, Miranda will hit Abraham so hard, the referee has to disqualify Miranda.
Abraham wins. You guys are crazy if you pick Miranda to win in Europe.
Totally agree.
In US...Miranda
In Germany...Abraham
I see Quillin in your list...not many people know him yet so I'm gonna check some of those other names. TIA
Know any where I can find some footage?
That's why I think it will be hard to make the fight.
They will pull every trick in the book to rob Miranda again in Germany.
In the USA it would be much more fair. Im not gonna lie, Miranda would probably win a close fight on the judges card, but that's the only advantage he might have. Of course, knowing Sauerland, he would find a way to even get to the judges and ref here, so who really knows.

But the problem is HBO has zero interest in Abraham, so they may not care for the fight...
But HBO loves miranda so they'll do it. no problem. miranda is an official hbo fighter now.
If Miranda were to beat both Pavlik and Taylor (I'm not saying he will, but enough people do so to warrant a hypothetical), then avenging Miranda's one controversial loss to a guy who happens to hold the IBF belt, that would be good enough for any production board to approve of. They'd pay for it, I'd guess. It doesn't mean they'd sign AA to a long-term fight deal.
At that point, yes. I am saying after the Pavlik win, the interest is not too strong.

HBO have to consider the fact that this is the fight hardcore boxing fans want mnore than any other. If you can't sell this, you need to go into another business.

The money will be much bigger to fight Abraham, but will HBO put enough money behind this fight to get Abraham to the States? Or will the money be so big that Edison will take a chance and fight in Germany once again (I doubt it).

Assuming Miranda beats Pavlik and Abraham beats Demers, Miranda will be the mandatory for both the WBC and the IBF (along with the WBO, although their is some heat coming from the Gevor side, but thats another story).
Both the WBC and the IBF mandatories are due immediately following these fights. If Taylor will fight Miranda, than that will most likely be the fight he takes and this will forfit his mandatory in the IBF. If Taylor 'runs' elsewhere, than the belt will be retired and Miranda will have the option to fight for the open belt or fight Abraham for the IBF. At this point it is a tossup as to what I think Pantera will do. The money will be much bigger to fight Abraham, but will HBO put enough money behind this fight to get Abraham to the States? If he fights for the vacant belt against Gevor or Lorenzo the money will not be much and now he has lost the mandatory to fight Abraham. At this point it is unlikely that Arthur will take a voluntary fight against Miranda (however to unify the belts he may......)
Lots of choices.... Lots of things need to happen. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out.
If he doesnt face Taylor, dont you think he'd want to avenge his loss to Abraham, no matter where it may be? Edison comes across as the type of guy who doesnt give a crap where the fight is at...he'll fight anyone, anywhere. He's a breath of fresh air in the sport, a throwback to the old warriors. I get the feeling that if Abraham steps up to the challenge, Pantera will take it no matter where it is, though it would benefit him to fight it in the States or PR. But I dont see Abraham giving in to that, especially since he has the win in the first encounter and he holds the belt.
I would have to say a KO by Miranda. I know he wasn't able to knock him down in the first fight even with Abraham having a broken jaw, but I think Miranda would be fired up in a rematch. He would be motivated to avenge his loss and do whatever he has to do win in convincing fashion this time.
I look forward to this fight happening and I agree with you, Miranda by KO. If it happens soon, I feel that with Miranda's activity against good fighters and as you said, being fired up, would make me lean to him stopping Abraham. However, if the fight goes the distance, than it's a matter of where they are fighting. In the States, I'd give the edge to Pantera. Elsewhere, to Abraham. Either way, it'd be close.
It's a good fight for the fans and for boxing in general.
If abraham's jaw has healed well, i think he'll beat miranda by a clear decision. I could see miranda winning a few rounds late on because abraham tends to tire and go into a shell down the stretch. This fight has to be made, the first didn't give any indication as to who is the better fighter.
MIranda has come along, but Abraham is tricky, powerful, and tough as nails. You can't go wrong in this fight. I picked Abraham to KO Miranda, because AA is dolid defensively and tough, whereas the jury is still out on how Miranda takes a punch. But I wouldn't mind eiother way, so long as the fight takes place.
It'll be a year, though. Miranda goes for Taylor, which means Abraham could get a different mandatory then another voluntary, no?
