Tonights DLH - Floyd Interview

floyd is scared but he seems to think showing off his muscles will help him win... Maybe he takes tips from Freitas... Be afraid of my muscles and not my heart to win. Nope, Oscar looks the anxious one to me, Floyd aint stupid, he thinks this is stylistically a good match up for him, De La Hoya only got one way to win the fight, come in close and dont get hit, same as everyone else, i'll get flack for this, but Judah was the last guys who had more than one way to win, he could have won from the outside, and got in close and knocked him out. I Keep saying it, Swarming probably wont do it, someone will have to outbox him which means making him come after you and countering. Where do people get this bullshit about Floyd having no heart, lol, stop it, it's embarrasing, He fought castillo with one hand, been hit in fights and ridden the storm, broken his hand many times in fights. Why do people think because you havent suffered a proper knockdown and had to get, you have no chin or no heart. lol.

Floyd looked swola as hell, veins poppin out of his shoulders and shit, while Oscar looked skin and bones. Oscar is still gonna lay him out flat though. Mayweathers just gonna be slower now. and Max doesnt seem right for HBO. he basically kinda pulled the Pacman vs Diaz fight out of nowhere when Diaz has guys like Julio Diaz, Casamayor, Morales Raheem all in his weight class, ahaha next he'll be like. "Wladimir, youve just got your revenge over Lamon Brewster. Your division is filled with fellow title holders like Briggs, Chagaev, Peter,... how would a fight between you and Sugar Shane Mosley play out? It would be a great fight and would be similar to Spider Rico challenging Drago!" Yeah ok. He looked big when they talked to him before the Baldomir fight, and he was still very fast.

mayweather was respectful but he still acted as if hes the one selling the fight and as if its the biggest fight in boxing history...

Kellerman had good points and some pretty bad points. He asked Diaz about fighting Pacquiao while he is still fighting as a featherweight.

i agree i'm really looking forward to this fight. i may have read into it too much but definitely going to be a good night for boxing.

It was a boring interview. Having a guy like Merchant interview them would have been better.

Oscar stated that Floyd got under his skin but not in his head. Under his skin that motivating him..

They interviewed them tonight and to be honest before this interview I absolutely hated PBF's personality. I think I caught something interesting since it was such an impromptu interview. The guy seemed genuine and actually he seemed respectful towards DLH. I dont know if its a ploy to try to change his image but the guy was likable. This is the first time he seemed like a regular guy instead of the ASS he plays on TV usually. Something that I thought was concerning was that it was pretty obvious that he managed to get into DLH's head. Oscar did not seem as confident as I expected him to. Mayweather appears more mentally prepared than DLH. This is just off of what I saw in the interview obviously, it could have just been a bad interview for oscar though. edit: also keller is bad for boxing, the guy is impossible to watch. I actually think pbf is an alright guy when he's not in hype my fight mode. he sure has a lot more of a head on his shoulders than his uncle and father,,,thats for sure. he has a hundred times more class and brains than those 2 put together

kellerman, sorry... his commentary is terrible, no offense but how is he fine? the guy interviewing dlh & floyd did well though. dlh admitted that the guy irritates him, thats getting into someones head. floyd tried to do intentionally... dlh said it worked, i consider that in someones head.

I felt Papas asked some good questions and Oscar and Floyd seemed to show respect for each other. I think it's getting close to the fight and really don't have to hype it up anymore. They both are probably pretty focused for their fight next weekend.

How do you base your judgement or your conclusion, that floyd was in oscar's head? I think they were both calm, ready to fight. I dont think either one is scared of each other but they do respect one another.
