Got a couple of friends that dont believe me when I say Camacho was a great fighter. They have only seen old Macho. Any fights anyone can recommend that highlights Camacho's speed and abilities?
Macho was great, talented, fast, smart and southpaw. Some of his best performances include his title fight against Rafael Limon, Jose Luis Ramirez, and Ray Mancini.
Macho was not as dedicated as he should have been. He trained 2 or 3 weeks for most of his fights, and drank and smoked up until that point. I personally know his lifestyle as he is a very close family member, and I can vouch for the fact that Macho's mind was not always on boxing. To me he is one of the most talented fighters that has entered the ring, yet he did not accomplish what he was capable of.

I agree with you 100%. Hector is one of my favortie fighters, and he's a beautiful boxer.
Watch the Vinny Pazienza fight and see how he suppresses aggression. Watch the Tony Baltazar fight to see a boxing clinic. They could also look at the Ray Mancini fight to see a more toe-to-toe style from Hector (in spots).
