hmmmm, didnt know the deal was running out soon.
I think it would be better for ITV and Boxing in Britain if ITV dont sign an exclusive deal with anyone.
Might get rid of some of Frank Warrens power to, which is a plus for everyone.
ITV have already told warren that they might drop him in june or july, so they are in a better position to get a good deal with warren as he has got no where to go except crappy setanta, this might mean they can show other fights.
no way would i pay 15 quid a month to get setanta just to watch sportsnetwork shows....at least with sky you get the premiership matches as well
Warrens last show is the skelton one... after which ITV are gonna drop his ass..
i think the best outcome would be for itv just not to give exclusive rights to any one promoter, so warren, hobson, hennessey, maloney, hearns etc can all get their promotions aired if the card is good enough.

Frank Warren has already said that ricky hatton vs jose luis castillo won't be on ITV as ITV have signed a deal with Sports Network, so they cant show it.
Joe is closer to retirment because of his brittle hands than ever.
September v Kessler and then maybe one more versus Hopkins, Taylor or Tarver. There could plausibly be one filler between the two.
But I think that will be it?
I cant see Joe vacating his title when he is so close to record levels of title defenses. But similarly, I cant see the WBO pushing their most credible and longest reigning champion into accepting a mandatory contender when in a few months he could be unifying the title.
