Damn that whole family needs to give it up lol. Nah i understand there needs to be guys like that to help the upcoming fighters. I just hope they don't have some kind of brain damage.
They have made a sizeable living taking these kind of short notice fights. They have a regenerating source of income, a true hustle racket.
Strickland has a good chin and is rarely KO'ed and is seen as an easy fight so matchmakers have him on speed dial. He makes over 80 grand a year, but he does take a lot of punishment which is worrisome.
He doesn't train and takes fights on short notice and has no skill to speak of. He loses a lot on DQ because once he's taken too much of a beating, instead of getting KO'ed, he'll foul to get disqualified.
look at his whole family in my old thread lol

this guy is a joke. :nonono:
What's not a joke is that he was making 80 grand a year fighting when he was active like that. He made a pretty penny as a designated loser.
if you are an upcoming amateur boxer would you even listen to one of those fighters like for sidenotes, advise from experience ?????????
not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lmao
probably don't lay on the canvas too long
He must have been competing with his brother Jerry Strickland

My man Peter Buckley is hot and his heels and will catch him though...

241 losses and counting....He's fought everyone from Prince Naseem to Acelino Freitas. To the poster that says guys like this are a joke needs to have a rethink. I dont know about Strickland but Buckley never gets stopped - he took Nas the distance - and he teaches a kid on the way up a lot. Fighters like this are the backbone of the sport.
