I will always think that those MORALES wins are highly overated because Morales was waaay passed his best and basically washed up. He threw anything he had left into that first fight with Pacman.
And against Solis, he stopped the guy... sure... but its NOT the performance that gets you top 2 p4p in the world.
I thought JMM's highly impressive (and in my eyes) dominant win of Marco Antonio Barrera, was comeing out fight of sorts. Something that makes him #3 in the world.
And Rafael Marquez's win over Israel Vazquez (which i used to think shouldn't have gained Marquez too much credit because of the reason of quitting) is another brilliant performance that has him all the way up at my #2 P4P
Winky Will probably take the 2 slot if he beats Hopkins, and that would bump PACQUIOA down the 5.
Am i like, alone on this or is someone in agreement?
And its not JUST because of Pacquioas "so-so" performance, i just thought the Marquez brothers put on far better performances, against FAAAAR better fighters
Coz he said a while ago that he won't quote me ever. Yet he doesn't have the balls to stick to his word. Typical.
I'm just reminding it of him.
No i didnt say that you thick, straw hat wearing, Dildo.
I asked you not to refer to me again. notice the difference.
By the way, Yeah we have UN programs for tranvestites down here, they sorted me out well, good program, so good im gonna reccomend you to join the program,
That way you dont have to tuck your balls in between your legs and call yourself sally.
lmao.
Uhh, YES!! You're telling me that Morales did not look just a "tad bit" drained in his 3rd fight against PAC, even though both weighed the same at the weigh in and both added the same amount of weight(PAC may have weighed a pound more) entering the ring.
so pacman looked healthy at 140... good for him: he is a legit 130er.. he can fight other real 130er, he doesnt need to feed on superbantams
YES!! You're telling me that if you use to weigh 130lbs. and moved up to 154 or 160lbs. that you're gonna look like the guy who has been fighting at 154 - 160 his entire career. DLH came in at 154 against Mayorga and put on just as much weight as Mayorga on fight night who appeared bigger?? DLH came in the same as Sturm and Hopkins. Who looked bigger?? Winky put on as much weight as Jermain did. Who looked bigger? I will always give more credit fighting up in weight, than a person who has fought in or close to the agreed fighting weight. From my personal experience. I'm a natural 135lber. I've been at 160lbs for several years now, and everytime I spar w/ a guy who is a natural 160lber I always appear smaller, my punches do not have the same effect as it did when I used to fight at my natural weight. PAC's power is no longer the 1 punch ko power. He has to work harder than the guy who has been a natural at 130lber.
then train down in weight or stop boxing.
btw Mayorga was 172 against oscar 164. he looked bigger and dlh had been fighting at 154 since 2002. what is your point, if you have any?
DLH and HOP, DLH and STURM, definitely did not put on the same pounds by fight night.
anyway. If pac is too small at 130, why does he fight at 130? Because its a division full of smaller fighters? If you move up, move up, dont be half ass about it
This is the exact quote that I've been looking for. WMute is saying that EM's loss to MAB is because MAB was simply a great fighter who beat another great fighter, but when PAC is entered into the discussion, PAC beat all these legends because he caught 'em on a bad night, past prime this, weight drained that, in other words... What you guys really wanna say is PAC just got lucky!!! MAB, EM, & JMM can have all the boxing skills in the world, but one thing PAC will always have an all 3 is his speed. AND SPEED KILLS!! You can be the most technical boxer, but it's very difficult to apply those skills when you can't see the punches, especially when they're coming in bunches!!
Which is worse? Being one-dimensional or keep getting caught with the same exact punch over and over??
What is your point? EM beat pac right after MAB beat him.
When pac beat EM he just lost to Raheem, and was farther away from his last victory of someone who was not pac...
it's called SLIPPING... you know? fighter A used to always win... oops now hw has 2 losses in his last 3 fights... but it is a rematch it definitely should have happened (I agree) oh we stopped him, now he is 1-3 in his last 4 fights, but he is great (I dont agree)..
as for Pac being better than MAB, well he proved it.
as for Pac being better than JMM. he proved it very well for 3 mins. and JMM proved the opposite for 33 minutes.
anyone who have rafa above Pac p4p is an idiot
I see more comments coming from Bonsi, I am tempted to see them.
I will probably resist the temptation knowing there is useless junk hiding behind that button
I think Rafa is awesome but his chin separates him from the absolute top.
if you read my post, i say that I have no problem in switching places among pac, rafa and winky. i just dont understand why someone who rates winky and rafa above pac is an idiot and should not discuss boxing.
look bud... I (we) know you are reading my comments. :stupid:
PAC comes in @ 140Lbs on fight night. But who looks bigger, PAC's opposition or him(not counting the rubber match w/ EM)?? It's the bone structure. You can say all you want, but no one other than PAC came from 106lbs. So even if PAC comes in the same exact weight as his opponent, PAC is still the naturally smaller guy!! This was the case against MAB, EM, JMM, LARIOS, SOLIS, VELASQUEZ, etc...
now you are telling me that looks matter over the actual weight? great...
ok, maybe you misunderstand my post... i was just talking about Rafa and Pac's last performances... if their last fights have a large effect on your p4p rankings then be my guest...
btw, i like Rafa as a fighter. Decent power with good boxing skills, it's just that his chin doesn't hold well at times...

Your excuse is that PAC hasn't fought any natural solid 130lber?? Umm, are you aware that PAC started his career at 106lbs.
if anyone who has been the smaller guy in the ring when he has faced these former featherweights or superbantamweights, ITS BEEN PAC.
weighing in at more than 140 on fight night against someone who was fighting at 122 a few months earlier? BULLSHIT
So basically you say that since pac came up in weight its ok forhim to pretend to be a 130, while fighting featherweights.
(of course I am aware of pac's coming up in weight, why do you think he is rated p4p?)
YOu say" that a fighter coming off a lost is most likely to lose in his next fight"
Are you also aware that the stats on fighters who lost the first fight also lose on the rematch. So your excuse and my fact Xs each other out. FACT! PAC IS THE BEST FIGHTER OUT OF THE 4. PAC made EM quit, PAC whupped MAB, JMM ran halfway across the PACIFIC to avoid PAC!!!
1. Am I rating any of the above fighters above pac? NO, I am rating PBF above pac and Winky and Rafa on the same level.
2. How is that you call what you say "FACT" and what i write "EXCUSE". is that because you have nothing better left to write?
3. You dont know much about logic and statistics: your point applies only to Morales-Pac 2. My points apply to the majority of opponents faced by pac after JMM. Do the math
ok, maybe you misunderstand my post... i was just talking about Rafa and Pac's last performances... if their last fights have a large effect on your p4p rankings then be my guest...

anyone here with basic common sense can tell you're reading my comments, idiot. what a dummy.

what's with the sarcasm bud?
pac is widely regarded as no. 2 p4p fighter in the world today... to put Rafa over him with a single performace (Rafa was impressive against Vazquez) does not sit right with me... Rafa is good and impressive but a single performance would not directly put him above Pac...
just my 2 cents...
I am curious, why do you think Rafa had a single impressive performance?
First off, what kind measurement do you use to rate these guys. If we're only rating this from a mythical matchup point of view, then hands down I think Rafa would beat PAC, maybe even ko him in the late rounds, then again RAFA isn't exactly known to have a great chin. But, since most of us include what each fighter has accomplished. I'd have to put PAC over Rafael.
Rafael beat Israel Vasquez. Are you aware of what PAC does to Rafael when they spar, and they've sparred often?? PAC abuses Vasquez! Although both fight in different weightclasses, PAC is such an undersized 130lber. that you can't really tell the difference in size. I mean, I can only imagine if PAC fought Israel in a real fight.
actually I would be very undecided in a p4p match-up between Pac and Rafa, because Rafa has the tools to put on a beating, but he is also chinny.
Accomplishents are for Pac, but not recently. Rafa's recent run is more impressive than Pac's
As for Vazquez being owned in sparring... he is a 122 fighter... no shit he gets owned sparring with a top 130 fighter. rafa beat him moving up from 118, different story.
Finally Pac undersized? why does he come in at 140+ on fight night?
If you are right, that must be the reason why he still has to fight a true 130er
ah its nice to have an ignore list and not be bothered by retards comments, Bonsi
:haha: ignore list are for pussies. plus, i know you read my comment retard.
shut up.
what does your supreme mind find wrong with having
1.pbf
2.winky
3.rafa
4.pacman
?
note that I am pretty much indifferent between any combination of numbers 2 and 4. They all have good credentials for being number 2 p4p
what's with the sarcasm bud?

What's your point? PACMAN has been ko'd, tko'd, schooled, battered, and bruised. And after all that he still became a 2 time World Champ and went on and put a whuppin' on "legends". That's a mark of a true legend! So what if Erik was coming of a loss. Erik beat PAC the first time, if anything Erik had the advantage going into the 2nd fight because he had already beaten PAC . Zahir's style had nothin' to do w/ PAC's, two completely different fighters.
2003 PacMan most impressive whuppin: Barrera.
2004 Knocking Down Marquez 3 times in a round and then getting schooled for 11 rounds is not a whuppin
2005
Morales coming in the first fight had just lost to Barrera (ok barrera is barrera). He beats Pacman
Morales coming in the second fight had just lost to Raheem (Raheem is not an elite fighter). He gets KTFOed
Morales coming in the third fight had just lost to PacMan. And boo-hoo he loses again.
In the meantime pac fights Velzazquez, Larios, Solis
"So what if Erik was coming off a loss?"
so what? are you retarded? a fighter is good when he wins fights, a fighter who loses fights is not that good anymore.
Pacman opponents after JMM:
3k: moving up from 122 to 126. previous fight: draw. previous 12 rounds fight: a loss (at 122).
Velazquez: a nobody, former 126.
Morales: see rest of post and add: former 126 (not a nobody, read the previous part of the post)
Larios: moving up from 122 to 130, previous fight: stoppage loss at 122
Morales: see above
Morales: see above
Solis: unbeaten but also unknown, untested, moving up from 126
and I have to read that pbf is gay, duck, pussy for fighting the current and former lineal champs at 147?
this while pacman did not even fight a single natural 130 fighter: every opponent of pacman at 130 was a featherweight or superbantamweight.
