When Is Bell Fighting Again?

This is A cool thread, I always thought if Bell was properly motivated, He should be undefeated and undisputed. He has A great jab, and the size to beat any cruiserweight. I think he lacks the desire...

Correct me if im wrong, but isnt Haye a bit heavy, even at cruiserweight? yeah...he always comes in at 200 on the dot, and struggles to make it. although if he shaved off his 'fro he could probably make lightheavy! this should be his last fight at cruiser, unless he struggles against bonin on friday in which case he might change his mind about moving up to hw.

I thought Bell won the fight, I don't know what the hell those announcers were drinking, they were all over Mormeck's nuts! Yeah in my eyes it was close but i do think Mormeck outworked Bell a lot in the first 4? rounds..., but i wanted Bell to win.... Mormeck fought like a pussy in the later rounds

he's supposed to be defending his title against david haye in september (still in negotiation). once haye wins he'll probably immediately vacate and move up to hw, so you can have bell-mormeck III for the vacant titles. :) Haye-Mormeck is another outstanding fight. I think Mormeck takes it though. Third fight is going to be soooo good. I cant wait. Mormeck will probably defend his titles once and then fight Bell again in october-december. I swear to god, if HBO or SHOWTIME is STUPID enough to let this fight go unbroadcasted by a major network... the guys in charge should be fired. Had Bell winning this fight, but I'm biased because I don't like Mormeck. He is french and that fight happened in Paris as far is I remember. Crowd, timers, comentators all biased as hell

I think so as well. If there isn't open scoring I think there will be a knockout as well. Mormeck seems to really gas in the later rounds and Bell would take advantage again like he did in the first fight. If there wasn't open scoring in the second fight Bell might have gotten a KO, but Mormeck was running because he knew he won the fight. It will have openscoring. Garunteed. But it wont matter cause i think the fight will be so close this time around, both guys will still have to go for that KO. And MORMECK definetly won the fight. He almost let it slip away, but even won a few of the later rounds. BELL was just coming forward and not doing anything. He never really seemed to get a rythm going

Boxing's most exciting fighter. I could watch the second fight against Mormeck over and over. That whole showboating shennanigans was the greatest thing I've seen in a long time as far as someone putting on a show. He fights like a man and that showboating is what boxing needs more of. A guy taunting someone but just sticking himself out there to get hit, and then when he dances.......he moved TOWARDS Mormeck. Good stuff. And yeah he's the most exciting because he's a big man, and watching big men fight is much more exciting than watching little guys. I really don't think I have to explain that considering it's just factual. Harder punches from echelon fighters closer to the supreme weight class. Third fight is going to be soooo good. I cant wait. After listening to those annoncers I don't blame you, they almost had me too! I though Bell clearly won the fight, he landed the cleaner punches, he was making Mormeck miss with alot of his punches, also ref and the time keeper saved Mormeck from getting knocked out again, one more round Bell would've knocked him out. Oh yea if you watch each round, you will see the time keeper hitting the bell quickly and each round starts after 5 to 10 seconds or so. Those were not 3 full minute rounds, which clearly was helping Mormeck! im thinking maybe you have Bell wining the fight because u hate the announcers, maybe u should watch it with the sound off, to me they were a greta laugh to go with a great fight, i had mormek winning pretty solid imo

Yeah Bell def made me a fan of his in last fight. Just the way he dramatizes everything. I remember he got hit with a low blow then fell over like he got KTFO. If he takes a clean punch even if it doesn't hurt him he'll play possum and pretend to be out on his feet only to whack Mormeck coming to get him. He does put on a good show even in defeat.

Shit, I'll pay to watch him lose fights I could care less. He's an exciting fighter because of his sheer guts in the ring. Maybe has as much heart as anyone in boxing that's I'm pretty sure of. I don't like seeing Guys fighting like Women. I like Corey Spinks. Gasp. Get mad, boy.

oh y agree, bell is one of the most exciting fighters now. the fight with mormeck was awesome and y really want to see him fight again, or even better mormeck - bell iii =D

I don't know if he will be fighting anytime soon. It seems he takes long breaks in between fights. He fought Mormeck the first time and it wasn't I think until about a year later they fought again and he didn't fight anybody in between. I wish he would fight more often I like to see him fight and he is very exciting.

Cruiserweight has some great talent right now. I think Bell should have tried to be more defensively oriented during the rematch, though. Shit, I'll pay to watch him lose fights I could care less.
