Mexican fighters the MOST OVER-RATED fighters in the history of the sport..

just like i have said in my previous thread....once the whole pac train dies down it will be like business as usual...right now every pinoy is riding the pac wave and ride it they should.....carrying there flag....blah blah blah.....enjoy it .....cuz after pacquiao it will be a long time before you see an asian boxer like that make it as big as he has in mainstream america....and geesus christ do not say " oh well we have nonito donaire " fuk him too...the guy weighs 90 pounds and a flu shot !!! you lil muther ****ers come to this country on a boat with the same hope of my making like any mexican coming to this country...im glad that pac gives you guys hope and gives your country inspiration u muther ****ers need it !! ****in leeches !!

i have been boxing fan for over 20 years.... My observation is that mexican fighters have been the most over-rated fighters in the history of the sport.... If they are pitted amongst themselves (ala morales/berrera/marquez) they do seem entertaining.. However, if you put the mexican "best" against real elite fighters, they simply lose... Take a look at the mexican "deity" chavez... It was not until later in his career that he actually fought top ranked fighters... And, when he fought meldrick taylor and pernell whitaker he was consistantly bailed out by corrupt referees and judges... I dont know the reasons but the facts speak for themselves...(maybe because wbc is based in mexico?) now, take a look at the boxing "icon" de la hoya.. Can anyone tell me who he beat in the last 5 years that makes him so popular? Odh is the golden goose of boxing yet he isnt even ranked in the top 10 in most p4p lists... Oh yea, he beat mayorga, who is 2 weight classes smaller than him... Is it me, or wasnt he crying on the convass when he was hit by a hopkins body shot???? Now he wants to fight mayweather who is 3 natural weight classes lower than him.... If you are really knowlegable in boxing you would have made the same observations... And, why do some mexicans always say that all latinos agree... That counldnt be the furthest thing from the truth... Most latins (cubans, colombians, puerto ricans, dominicans)i know dont even like mexicans... Although i may be a pac fan, i know whole heartedly that he is hardly not the greatest thing since sliced bread... He was not greatly heralded when he came to america... As a matter of fact he lost to 2 other filipino/asian fighters already when he arrived... I suspect that if he was not fortunate enough to come to america, he would have slipped into obscurity in the philippines just as thousands of countless filipino fighters.... The fact is that philippines is thousands of miles away and it is not as easy to come to america as simply crossing a fenceless border... This post was made in april of last year. The thread starter have only 1 post since joining. Somebody in the forum probably made another ID and put this topic up to stir the Mexicans and Filipinos. He probably don't like Pinoys so this thead is meant to bash them by the members in here.

I have much respect for Mexican fighters, producing champions and pound for pound fighters. Giving excitemtn into the lower divisions, much better actions that the heavyweights. Filipino here but disagree with the thread starter.

Mexican fighters have earned thier reputation as warriors in the sport. From Marquez, Barrera & Morales to Chavez & Ricardo Lopez to Salvador Sanchez, Lupe Pintor, Bazooka Limon, Ruben Olivares, Carlos Zarate, the list goes on and on. Mexico has produced some of the greatest the sport has seen.
