nope, you're wrong. speed and punching power can only be trained to an extent. fact: there are plenty of boxers out there with great punching technique but are not considered punchers. flip the switch and you get guys like foreman who with a sloppy, girly arm punch still has the power to knock down walls. THAT is the difference. plenty of 130lb guys can train all they want, and most will never be as fast or hit as hard as pacquiao can. speed and power are a talent, and boxing historians, commentators, and the fighters themselves all label it that way as well. learning to use the shoulder roll inside the pocket like james toney does, or learning to defend like winky are all SKILLS that are developed in the gym. name anyone in the boxing world who labels pacquiao as a skilled boxer. you can't, can you? there's a reason why commentators point out his flaws in everyone on of his fights, but they always mention how his TALENT as far as speed, power, and explosiveness negates it. on a side note, i'm very surprised at how hard you're trying to get at me after just one post. the guys on this site are right, you guys from the pinoy lounge are borderline obsessed-and plenty of you have already passed that threshold, i wonder how many of you will put the .357 to the head and pull the trigger once pacquiao burns out (and as history has PROVEN happens to all fighters of his style)? or are you guys in the PI still using powder-loaded pistols? ______________________________ 1. his kangroo style of fighting wont work against a good quick boxer, in the marquez fight, marquez was thrown off by the kangroo style the first 2 or 3 rounds once he got control of it, pacquiao couldnt do anything, the first time he fights somebody who's quick with a jab (barrera isnt quick, nor is morales) he will be exposed. many great fighters have their flaws its their great assests that help to make up for them and what really make them great

The only claim I would agree with is that Pac does have flaws technically. He does tend to jump in wildly, but its working damn well for him thus far. Had he faced a great boxer like Floyd at 130, I think he would be given a boxing lesson, but I dont think JMM is the fighter Floyd was at 130 and that pac can definitly beat him.

if u really wanna beat pac a good idea would be to not let him set the pace. too many fighters only fight when pac decides to fight. if you see pac settin or coming in with the jab just leave. dont let him get off. when he repositions himself to start goin after you is when you can catch him......i prolly explained that horrible, but hopefully u get the idea.

We all know Pacquiao is flawed as figther. His technique isn't that great. We know this. Like Al Bernstien said in his last fight with Solis, Pacquiao's style isn't something you would teach somebody else, but it works for him. He is the best in the featherweight to SFW division until somebody beats him convincingly or politics take him over.

Manny is extremely flawed just as Rocky Marciano and Gene Fullmer were. The guy keeps knocking them dead, though. Manny has some of the worst balance of any World Champion I saw this side of Elisha Obed and Edwin Valero. But he is a killer and a maneater in that ring.
