Come on guys lets be real here, im as big a Cotto fan as the next guy, but Judah is special, and by faaar the best fighter Cotto has ever fought. Judah is way too fast slick and powerful for the tight Cotto. I see a ko around round 8.

i didn't see the low blow tactics coming either. nice dirty play by COtto
i still dont see how people think zab is gonna crush cotto.... zab's opponents are hand picked for him, guys with no power and little chance(spinks, baldy) and he still cant always beat them... aside from spinks, his wins are alomst entirely aginst jorneymen.. last 6 wins: ruben galven, cosme rivera, wayne martel, pineda(split decision), jamie rangel, corley(split decsion).... thats a pretty WEAK ASS resume..
cotto's last 10 opponents only had 18 losses, whiles zab's have 43
DAMN! 18-43 talk about hand picked. Thanks for the stats.

Cotto is in a lose-lose situation. If he beats Zab everyone will say that Zab was past his prime, that he was overrated, and that Cotto is still fighting PBF's leftovers. If he loses to Zab, then people will just say that he wasn't that good anyway.
I believe that Cotto, a natural lefty, will not have a problem fighting a southpaw (he had no problem with Quintana). His straight right will be there all night and Zab will really feel it. That will set up the left to the body, where Zab will really begin to get hurt. I expect to see Zab running around after the 4th round and to get KO'd finally sometime around the 9th round.
I think Judah is hungry again. I think beneath all the extra shit that Zab gets involved with, he loves fighting, and that being taken away from him has put some fire in him. I like Cotto. I think him being on FNF last night just proves what kind of person he is. I just have a feeling Judah is going to be a bad match up for Cotto. And when I mean bad, I mean Heans vs Duran bad.
Cotto could have fought the same guy judah fought and it wouldve went atleast 8 rounds.. lmao with cotto trying to break him down to the body... *think* URKAL
Judah killer instint just took his man out, cotto is going down man... seriously
Judah went in there and made a statement against a guy who's been stopped before and went way over his head. I don't think Judah would've stopped Urkal in one round neither considering Urkal's chin and deffense. Zab has been hurt plenty in other fights and he's been down against non punchers also. Zab vs Cotto will be an entertaining match, I hope Zab tries to pull the same wild strategy on Cotto to see what happens.
Remember Tszyu
Even though Judah is a much more seasoned fighter since when he lost to Kostya Tsyzu, I personally think his character is not as strong as Cotto's. Cotto still has something to prove, he's still hungry. Judah has been there before and look at his losses....He does TALK good, almost makes you want to buy into his belief that he is NOW better than ever, blah, blah, blah. But, when push comes to shove and the heat is on, I think Judah will fold up. This is going to be Cotto's coming out party. Judah's time has come & gone. Sure, he can still make big money and he is certainly a dangerous & quality opponant, but, he is more in the class of a Fernando Vargas, Eric Morel, etc. Bottom line, I think this will be just like when he fought Tsyzu...he gets knocked out.
zab could very well hurt cotto and win the fight, but i see cotto makin zab fold up once zab feels the power al la baldy, zab takes early rounds untill cotto gets him late imo
I feel if Judah didn't continue to train and stay sharp during his suspension,
then he'll have a hell of a rough time against a power hitting and focused Cotto. He'll be like a fish out of water who got thrown back in the bowl.
Judah has the big fight experience to decision Cotto if he's on point, doesn't come to showboat, and is as conditioned as Malignagi was when he fought Cotto.
Cotto can certainly put Judah down for the count. No question.

Im going with Judah UD for reasons i have already stated in another thread, mainly involving the speed factor and Judah's southpaw stance.
However
Aint no way this is not a pick'em fight
Floyd Mayweather hurt Judah badly with some bodyshots,
I promise you if Judah cant stop Cotto landing to his body, Judah aint going the full 12.
You guys are forgetting Cotto can punch! and he also can box. Judah came in and killed a guy who covered up and didn't throw a single shot. I expect Judah to try the same early on, Cotto might go into a pick a boo deffense until he catches Zab open and earn his respect. Like I said before, it wouldn't surprise me if Zab dazes him early on, but at the end of the night its gonna be Cotto by either way.
Judah has the skill to beat Cotto. It just depends how focused he is come fight night. But i was enjoying the trash talk.
"You never fought nobody as pretty as me" haha
Should be a good fight.
