I Cant Stand His His Cockyness Like He Knows Everything All The Time.. I Feel He Ruined Naseem Hamed And Tried To Turn Knock Out Artist Mcclellan Into A Boxer Not Using His Punching Power.. The 2most Talented Figheter Hes Ever Had. And He Even Says This.. I Feel Like He Can Make A Good Fighter Great But The 2 Best Fighter Hes Had Di-gressed And Taylor Since Hopkins Looks Like Shit..
If you ever have the chance to spend some time with Emanual Steward, you will be just as amazed as I was the first time I met him. Listening to Emanual talk boxing, and/or boxing history is like opening up an encyclopedia of boxing.
Just a couple of things that you may not know - first of all, name one boxing trainer that has trained more fighters for a "Superfight" than Emanual Steward - you can't. Second, Emanual Steward has NEVER had a fighter lose to ANY fighter that was trained by the late great Cus D'Amoto, bet you didn't know that fight fans!
The bottom line is, Emanual Steward has forgotten more about boxing than any of us will ever learn, you have to give the man his props. The KRONK GYM produced some of the biggest names in the sport, and Emanual Steward is after all, a Boxing Hall Of Fame Member and that alone speaks volumes about the man...
I feel quite a few trainers can be overrated.
Steward trained Hearns and people saw how great he was, then even more people started going to see Steward; out of all those people, eventually some of them are going to turn out good/great.

Manny is the best trainer in the game right now
I agree with you 100%. I was watching this fight and was thinking to myself bye the third round that Manny got to tell this big dummy to slow down, and pace himself.
well,,,,I doubt very much that manny was telling him to throw over 70 punches per round. he was clearly expecting an early knockout and when you go into a fight expecting it and it doesnt work out than youre in trouble. thats what happened in my opinion. dont think we can blame manny for that one
NOWAY.. STEWARD KNOWS HE MESSED NAZ UP .. AND FEELS GUILTY AND ALWAYS SAYS HE CAN BECOME CHAMPION AGAIN AND HOW HE WANTS TO HELP HIM.. BARERRA TRAINED LIKE A LUNATIC FOR NAZ.. AND NAZ HALF ASSED IT.. AND THE FIGHT WAS CLOSE.. AND I THINK BARERRA IS ON OF THE BEST FIGHTERS OF THIS GENERATION..
So waht are you saying? It Barerra's fault for training to hard? Or Naz's fault for fizzling away? Maybe your Prince had to much money and no heart and Ambition.:gives:
Naz Had Fewer Flaws The Most.. And Vitali Isnt Trained By Steward... And He Got Wlad Knocked Out By Brewster In His First Fight Training Him..

Your right Steward sucks. More big fighters gravitate to him than to any other trainer because they all don't know anything about boxing. Lennox Lewis, Wladimir Klitschko, Evander Holyfield, Thomas Hearns, Jermain Taylor, Kermit Cintron, Gerard McLellan, Naseem Hamed all went and sought Steward's help because they are idiots.
I dont hate him, I wish he would have fought more so we could have seen him in against Morales and Marquez and Pacquiao. Im just saying that Steward didnt ruin him, his style was just exposed by Barrera. Steward had no affect.
HE SHOULD OF NEVER WENT WITH STEWARD ..I NEVER APPRECIATED NAZ.. I SAW ONE FIGHT OF HIS WHEN HE WAS FIGHTING ,THE BARERRA FIGHT.. AND YOU KNOW WHAT I THOUGHT? JUST ANOTHER EURO BUM COMING OVER HERE TO GET EXPOSED WITH AND UNDEFEATED RECORD.. NOW I LOOK BACK AT SOME OF HIS FIGHTS AND AMATUER VIDEOS... AND WISH HE WAS STILL FIGHTING..THER HAS NEVER BEEN A FIGHER WITH THAT KIND OF POWER ,SPEED WITH HANDS AND FEET, AND A GOOD JAB, AND HEAD MOVEMENT.. HE MIGHT OF BEEN TO GOOD FOR HIS OWN GOOD
NAZ COULD FIGHT IN EVERY STYLE.. HE FOUND THAT STYLE ON HIS OWN AND DEVLOPED IT.. YOU MIGHT HATE HIM BUT HE WAS A PRODIGY

bullshit, Naz akward style got exposed by Barrera and after that beating he didnt have it in him to come back. What does Steward have to do with it.

klitschko is better than naz. he's made wlad unstoppable and certainly lewis was better than naz. wlad is seeming more and more to be like lewis, dominant, but thers always that one in a million hasim rahman lucky punch chance.

That motherfucker fucked up Naz!!!!

emmanuel steward is a good trainer but bad as an boxing analyst that's for surethis i can agree with fully. h edoes suck as an analyst, and you know why, because he tends to contradict his words a lot like for example with(and niceguy, you may not like my example, but nonetheless, here it is) when he assumed that carlos baldomir would be a threat to floyd mayweather and after the 1st round, his assumption changed dramatically to well, floyd is too domiate for him with hi speed. hello manny, wake up man, everybody knew this. and another example that reall got me mad with him was when he did commentary on floyd's fight with corley. he claimed that floyd, when he moves up in weight should box more, and fight less, because it's too risky for him, and yet, while floyd was boxing carlos, he claimed all floyd does is potshot and he doesn't fight enough, and how margarito woul dgive him problems. you know, he said the same thing about sharmba mitchell when floyd was fighting corley. he claimed he would favor sharmba to beat floyd because of his southpaw style, and how his speed matches up with floyd. well, i have that fight, and sharmba's speed did not match up against floyd's speed at all. and, not saying that manny shouldn't have an opinion, because he is an all time great in training, but as far as analyzing fights, he needs to work on that a lot. another example is oscar vs mayorga. you know manny thought that mayorga would be too much for oscar, because of his power, and he disregarded oscar's boxing skill, until oscar pounded away on retardo ricardo, and manny changed his mind real quick didn't he?
Lou Duva ruined more great fighters than all the other trainers combined. If the fighters were so concerned about winning, they would work with Steward from the get-go, rather than hiring him as an afterthought. He is a great trainer. Probably you have no business criticizing him, since I doubt you have done anything like he has....
i think he has wlad bending down too much.. wlad used fight taller similar to vitali and was killing guys.. now hes in the zone for shorter fighters to reach him
he was bending down a lot in the brewster and williamson fights I remember. I thought his last few fights he's been more upright. he does still tend to bend down when he panicks but Im not sure if thats actually from manny or just a bad habit he picked up along the way? I guess only he knows for sure
if there's any real knock on steward its that he's more of an offense oriented trainor
