Amir Khan.. The Great Swindle??

OK This is just based on a Observation since I have seen 8 Khan fights now.. The guy is a world class puncher no doubt.. He has very fast accurate hands.. and some decent power.. We are being spoon fed that this guy is next Thing in Lightweigth Boxing.. he is ALREADY a A "STAR" over in the UK.. he has a Book out.. A DVD.. yada yada... But I think we are being suckered and the people close to Khan know he will never MAKE it and they are trying to milk it for as long as they can.. WHY??? Well a little scrutiny on his recored will reveal it.. The guy has NO CHIN.. How else can you explain in 12 fights His Opponents having a combined total 341 fights between them and ONLY 45 KO's .. this is an average of 13.2% The average Khan oppenent has a KO% of 13.2 Alot of these guys have winning records..Most of them do in fact..so they are Not complete stiffs who lose.. They just cant PUNCH.. But the biggest puncher Khan faced has 38 fights and only 11 KO's ... 4 of them the had NO KO's at all..

This Thread needs a BUMP... Wanted to see what I could find out about Martin Kristensen .. Khan's next Opponent.. Cant Find Anything.. except... AND IT'S A BIG EXCEPT... That Martin Kristensen has Only 5 KOs in 20 fights... keeping right along with the script.. Another Feather fist with a KO% of around 13...:nonono:

I'd be more interested to see whether he actually beat the count. I could have sworn he dropped back down to his knees at the count of 8. I also noticed that. When I saw it, I thought he was counted out. But I agree with his trainer, Amir was just trying too hard.

i'm indian and i don't know about how strong a chin is! Like how are you suppose to know yourself? Are you telling me the only way you would know is buy someone punching you? Because i think my chin is like iron , cause when i feel it all i feel is bone, nothing but hard concrete bone. I honestly have'nt been hit hard, i've been hit in my jaw a lot with someones bare knuckles, and it hurt !! :tapedshut

All tonight proved is that defensively he's got a shitload of work to do. Could you imagine what the likes of Katsidis would do with that wide open target? He got caught cleanly with some big shots and was bundled over for that knockdown, so no proof of glass. I'd be more interested to see whether he actually beat the count. im not gonna say your wrong for saying this because those are some good nice facts that you researched nice posts and it makes you think only time will tell on khan i love his style and swagger but their is no doubt his chin isnt tested

The funny thing is most people used to think the same about Ricky Hatton and look where he has gone. After that fight against the character whose last name started with an L (Witter fought the kid also) .. his name escapes me, Hatton looked like complete shit. I thought it was the end of him because of how bad he looked. But Hatton proved me wrong. Khan may do so too. He has more of a skillset then Hatton but of course his chin holds him back. Oh He has Freakishly long arms.. and he is a Beautiful puncher... he is No doubt a world class fighter already.. and tonight he showed he has some heart.. But he has never faced a puncher.. And As I mentioned I think there is a reason for that

Like Audley Harrison, they try to make anyone and everyone into a celebrity. Its just business. The more popular a fighter is the more people will watch him. At the momnt they are just trying to build up his reputation as a great young fighter. Naturally they exaggerrate and hype up Khan. But in any young fighters career the tests will come with experience. And until then we have to put up with all the feather-fisted victims.

This isnt ment to sound racist of anything but have there been any fighters ever from india/Pakistan/Bangladesh that have had decent chins ? Hamed used to get knocked down a lot, mostly because of his unorthadox stance, but he always got back up, so you could argue he had a great/terrible chin. Naz-Fan...Hamed's parents are from Yemen, which is 2000 miles away from India. The same distance between the UK and Kazakhstan! Its no where near Asia. Why mention Hamed? :pat:
