This shit is very funny to me. Coulda woulda... and if's. I've said it before. PBF has beat everybody he has faced. You don't like him, that's fine. Respect him for what he is. One of the greatest fighters of all time.

Yeh im just not sold on Mayweather till he fights the Margariots the
cottos of the world...
Fighting Judah and ODH is on the right track....
His still the truth though....
Oh my God, did you just compare a two time world champion at two different weight-classes, and the former undisputed WW champion of the world, and a man who has been a world champion across 6 divisions to Margarito? The same Margarito who has beaten a grand total of 0 world champions, and his only thing to cling onto in his career is the paper title with the WBO (which he won vacant), after losing to Daniel Santos twice for that very title.
:nonono: :nonono: :nonono: :nonono:

You have to look at each individual fight and do 1 thing:
Forget and pretend anything that might of happened after that fight. Put yourself back into the moment, and judge that fighter at that specific juncture in his career.
Angel Manfredy was THE top contender at 130, he had just kicked a prime Gatti's ass, and was undefeated since having his only two losses coming in his first 5 fights.
Floyd TKO'd him in 2.
At that time, it was a VERY impressive victory, considering,
a) It was Floyd's first defense since defeating a legend in Genero Hernandez.
b) Floyd was 21 years old, and was only his 18th pro fight.
And don't even get me started on how dangerous a fight the N'dou one was, along with the Carlos Hernandez, Vargas, and Corely fights.
manfredy and corrales were great preformances.. but you cant tell me you dont wanna see him fight a great fighter in their prime .. lets see him beat shane winky paul williams cotto .. i think he might be the best but baldamir gatti judah and sharmba mitchell aint proving shit when the self proclaimed greatest is in his prime

The Gatti fight is why I dislike Mayweather so much.. There is no honor in holding a guys head down close to the floor and punching him. The knock down I can understand because the ref didn't say shit and your always supposed to keep your guard up, the ref did a fucking horrible job calling shit that night. But ya that was some real bitch made shit.
I agree with ya man but lets break that record down....
Before i start Floyd Mayweather is the f**kin truth right now!!
Diego Corrales was a sweet win with a fighter in his prime
Castillo beat his ass in the first fight that was fcuked up
Castillo won that outright they should of gave him that...
The rematch Mayweather had hands down..
Judah was a good win but with a fighter that aint really a great.
He got beat by the part time taxi driver carlos baldman
Judah has never been any great shakes has he?
Carlos Hernandez
Angel Manfredy
Philip N'dou
DeMarcus Corely
Victoriano Sosa
Goyo Vargas
Carlos Gerena
Justin Juuku
Not one of them makes u want to spank ur monkey do they?
some of them where on the slip before they took on a much

Mitchell was shot to pieces and Gatti was right behind him both fighters

Mayweather will be runnin from DeLahoya Like Roy Jones JR did in his fight with James Toney
well in that case i better go put a bet on mayweather to win a almost shut out fight in which he totally outclass his opponent :d
At least the Hatton thread had some truth to it.i was just showing how stupid those sort of threads are.
the fact is, not many people gave hatton a chance against kostya tsyzu,
then afterwards they labelled kostya way past his best.
theres only one fighter hatton could beat that might shut the detractors
up and thats floyd mayweather jr. its a sad state of affairs
It's to bad mayweather let's people get to him. That's probaly what makes him An :asshole: . He could of been the greatest of all time If he kept his disgusting mouth shut. Get rid of his idiot uncle, and his loud mouth hard to understand father. What in the hell was Delahoya thinking when training with Floyde Sr?. Another thing that bother's me is the mean muggin asshole's that hang around mayweather. These people are nobodies living threw mayweather. Mayweather will be runnin from DeLahoya Like Roy Jones JR did in his fight with James Toney :boxing: .
Diego Corrales
Jose Luis Castillo I
Jose Luis Castillo II
Jesus Chavez
Zab Judah
and some very solid contenders in their prime:
Carlos Hernandez
Angel Manfredy
Philip N'dou
DeMarcus Corely
Victoriano Sosa
Goyo Vargas
Carlos Gerena
Justin Juuku
Not to mention (fighters not in their PRIME, PRIME) but nonetheless still world class fighters, such as:
Genero Hernandez
Arturo Gatti
Oscar De La Hoya
Then you throw in the names:
Sharmba Mitchell
Tony Pep
Carlos Baldomir
Emanuel Augustus
and I don't care what you say, you have a pretty fucking good resumé. In fact, when you look at the list of names that Floyd has beat at 130, you could make a very solid argument that Floyd is the best Jr. Lightweight ever.
Sure, Floyd's resume has lost a significant amount of steam over the last few years, but it's still nothing to sneeze at. And a lot of the fights that didn't get made, are not entirely Floyd's fault. Just ask Hatton.
He did after all dominate one of the best versions of Zab Judah that I have ever seen. It was definitely the Zab Judah that was undisputed WelterWeight champion, just one fight prior.
And he also pitched a shutout against a very underrated Carlos Baldomir, becoming the legitimate, ring, lineal WelterWeight champion of the world (His 4th weight class).
And now he's fighting Oscar De La Hoya, who is still a great fighter. Sure Mayorga isn't the greatest of opponents, but the way Oscar dominated him in a way, that even surpassed Tito's whooping.
Haters will always be haters, but it's undeniable that Floyd has one of the best resumes in boxing.
Good post :)
sorry guys, the "Will Hatton....." thread annoyed me.
Im always defending PBF's record which is better than both hattons and dlh's
At least the Hatton thread had some truth to it.
Genaro Hernandez,Angel Manfredy,Diego Corrales,Jose Luis Castillo, wasnt a great fighter but this guy was in his prime..Phillip N'dou and to be honest Carlos Manuel Baldomir came of the 2 biggest fights of his life.......all in prime, anything else?
Ever fight a top fighter in his prime?
Dela Hoya's best days are past him.
