Man, I just logged on today, but man Kessler is the real sh1t! Now I see why Joe has ducked this guy. I'm not a groupie of Calzaghe by any stretch, but let's face facts here: If Calzaghe fights Kessler and knocks him out it doesn't shut any of his critics up, it simply means they have to look for someone else to hold against him to justify his "cowardice". The same thing happened with Jeff Lacy (Calslappy must fight Lacy, he teh scrad of Loacy lolz) and now instead of saying "wow, what a great performance" the critics are now rewriting history. Lacy's last fight was garbage but even before Lacy fought again Calzaghe haters were saying that Lacy was never that good. No matter who Calzaghe beats the excuses are already there. Winky (too small), Taylor (too small, lacks skill), Bernard Hopkins (in his forties, past his prime), Kessler (unproven Euro champ). The fact is that the one thing that will make him an acceptable champion for Americans would be to travel back in time and conduct the majority of his career in the United States. well Kessler need a beating and yes Xalzaghe slaps hard that is how he knockdown Lacy

It looks like Froch is finally angling for a serious tilt at a world title. Kessler should face him and the winner should fight Calzaghe after he deals with one of the big american names. Everyone's happy. I have a feeling Froch would beat Kessler. I think Froch would deserve a shot at Joe. Froch v Joe would be a good matchup.

He's been a champ for about 10 years. Why would the champ need to come out? The people should chase after the champ like peter manfredo is doing. This fight wont be one sided either way, it will be close and im not sure who i would back. But to cal calzaghe a "phoney" and a "paper champion" is a joke.

i've seen Kessler fighting first hand - he's good but not great....he's a solid fighter but he wont be anywhere near the p4p rankings in 2 years time.

I agree here, Kessler is good. But his exibition fight last Saturday against that mexican cab driver tho, showed me that Kessler will bleed bad. Believe me folks, Calzaghe Is 5 times the fighter Androbde or Andrabado is. Kessler never even hurt Andrade, no cut's, HARDLY any swellin. 1 single televised fight for Kessler against A young cab driver does not make him the man yet. Im not beatin the drum for Calzaghe, But If these two do fight, Kessler will be KO'ed or most likely be stopped on cut's from the fair skinned Kessler.
