I think Calzaghe would win a hard fought decision. It probably won't happen.

Kessler i think MAY be the guy to topple the Blow, Joe aint invinceable and he aint getting any younger. I just think the time is right for Kessler to take him.

I dont see many Calzaghe fans trying to put down Kessler's achievements. Kessler is doing well, but he has not yet fought anyone who realistically seemed like they would've beaten him or even come close to outpointing him. Thats not to say that the average Kessler fan on here is being unreasonable either. Its the bandwagon jumpers who dont actually support either fans that are the problem.

And if you dont think that a few of the guys supporting Kessler on here havent seen more than one at most of his fights and arent just bigging him up to try and put Calzaghe down, you're delusional. It's not a hate/hype thing. You got it all wrong. You should be happy JC now has a credible opponent, who would face him if he got the chance. Saying Kessler is good, isn't the same thing as saying Calzaghe is bad.. It’s possible to be a fan, and still appreciate other good fighters. I'll be happy to see the fight made if Calzaghe cannot get any of the big american fighters he is looking for. I'd also like to see Calzaghe take on Kessler before he retires. But IF/WHILE Calzaghe is taking on the big american fighters, I'd like to see Kessler take on at least one or two of the ACTUAL top guys in the SMW division. Calzaghe by UD. He has one of the best chins in boxing, and I think he is faster then Kessler. Joes been on the floor a couple of times,i think Kesslers got the better boxing skills,much better boxing skills,i think Kesslers the more hungrier

I can't see this fight happening. If Joe goes to the States to fight Hopkins and Taylor, Kessler will be a major step backwards (not in terms of danger but at least in terms of prestige).

Calzaghe doesn't rally slow in any rounds. In fact his work rate is a lot better than Kessler's. Kessler isn't a power puncher so I doubt he stops Joe. I'd have kessler within 8. I have seen numerous fights from both men and can see 2-3 feeling out rounds before joe c takes 4-5-6 using his technical skills. yes and look what happened to Lacy. I'm not comparing LAcy to Kessler cause I think Kessler is far better. But I still think Calzaghe boxes the pants of him

This looks like the same story as bfore the Jeff Lacy fight. The Calzaghe haters jump on the bandwagon.
