Nobody has EARNED the right to fight Calzaghe. What the people in the division have 'earned' so far is the right for Calzaghe to consider them. He isnt considering them right now because his mind is on bigger fights with bigger stars for more money. Top of the list for consideration so far in that division in Mikkel Kessler. There is a tier of fighters after Kessler like Bute, Froch etc. The problem is that NONE of these fighters have fought EACH OTHER. Why not? If they were to fight each other and PROVE themselves as being on the same level...then they will have EARNED a shot. You dont want me to name any other SMWs. You dont want me to name the more credible middleweights with bigger names...exactly who do you want me to name? Carl Froch? Unlucky. Nobody Then?????? i believe Bute is now going down IBF route to avoid Froch, he has recently pulled out of a fight with Matt Barney who froch beat 2 years ago. Froch shoul noe be named No1 contender with WBC and Kessler must fight him.

I like Froch. I think that he is a good contender, I want to see him get the big fights, but he has to prove himself first. If he fights Bute and beats him, then he has a good reason to call out Kessler (perhaps a little reason to call out Calzaghe too FINALLY). If he gets his arse handed to him off Kessler, then he has no shout for Calzaghe. If he defeats Kessler, then he has a good reason for a shout against Joe. I just want to see him work his way up instead of trying to jump to the top by spending his whole career calling out the top guy. Please please tell me who has earned the right to fight Calzaghe. please give me some names of SMWs who deserve a shot before Froch. Dont come up with a load of middleweights either. I look forward to your reply on this because i cant think of any.

Wow. Are you actually giving Froch credit? So he does deserve a shot at kessler. then calzaghe I like Froch. I dont regard either of them. There are much more impressive fights for Calzaghe AND Kessler out there. I know why Calzaghe is taking Manfredo though (because he wants to build a profile and a platform to make the fights with Hopkins/Wright/Taylor more appetising). But I dont know why Kessler is taking on the likes of Andrade when Bute/Froch/Lacy are out there (exception of Lacy with his injury of course). Wow. Are you actually giving Froch credit? Bika should have ben ranked above Andrade. Bika is a better opponent than Andrade. Manfredo shouldn't be in the top 10 at all. Bika blows. your crazy.

Really hard choice there between Andrade (ranked 5 by the ring, WBC mandatory, will get HBO exposure) and Froch (ranked way too high at no 7, no mantory, no exposure - other than a few british nutcases, no nothing really) But ohh yeah - Froch is BRITISH - so now HE determines who is worthy of perhaps, if and maybe, facing Calzaghe. Lets not get yourself carried away here. I'm no big Froch fan, but the manner of his victories are a demonstration of his potential.

Yeah it's really unbelieveable how the Ring couldn't spot it a mile away. Bika should obviously have been Ring no. 5 before the Calzaghe fight. Whereas Andrade should never ever have been top-10. Yes it is indeed a funny coincidence how the Ring and other independent rankings (with a notable exception in Boxrec) seems to rate Kessler's mediocre opposition way too high whereas they tend to severely UNDERRATE the real world-class opposition Calzaghe fights. How can they so consistantly make those errors? They obviously need to be given each, a pair of good quality, adequately taintet, british spectacles, so they can start seeing things in the proper light.
