Did you see how emotional he got talking about the judges "scoring" of the Marquez Barerra fight? He was pissed as hell about it and it looked like he had lost faith in the future of boxing.
if you forget about the hvwt clowns boxing is doing great.dont pay for lackey hvwt ppvs.
I watch any good fight, but just imagine leaving way back in the day with so much talent...seeing so many great fights, fighters, all the time is like today's world of easy pussy.
This is not the first time that a thing like this happened. Organized crimes have been influencing boxing results since time immemorial and through who? yeah right, through the judges.
organized crime controlled fights more through paying off fighters and their corners then the judges.

The Barerra/Marquez fight was old school though. Great technique, counter punching, heated exchanges, etc. It had it all except 15 rounds.
You forgot the judging ;)
I think he has lost a bit of faith in it as well, just look at his reactions when talking about so few "American" rising talents in the amatuers/pro's.
Lets not even get started with the few boxing gyms that are left in this country, including the closing of the Kronk Gym.
Most of the talent is coming out of the former Soviet Union, and they are not really that impressive. If they were impressive, I would be all for it, after all I just want to see great fights/fighters.
boxing really sucks right now.
I still can't believe in Vegas they upped the ounce of the gloves, what bullshit. Can't wait a few years from now when everybody is wearing sparring gloves and a helmet.
Soon I am sure, I will sit in front of my television, put in my tapes of old fights, become an :alcoholic , then start :crying: for the old days
