Ponce De Leon's impressive footstep

usually the winner gives the rematch after a close fights just like Marco vs Juarez, but this fight in the score cards was 12-0 for ponce, the question is why THE CHAMPION felt the NEED to give the challenger who was supposedly been schooled and outclaseed a REMATCH?? but we do respect the Mexican Champions usually they are the GOAL of a lot of Pinoy fighters and Ponce is one of them (although after the penalosa fight we see him as more vulnerable than the other Mexican champs)... PS. one of my all time favorite fighters is SALVADOR SANCHEZ!! one of my fav fighter too the best fighter coming from mexicio and good slugger couter punching that would make Penalosa and JMM look bad he was one of hella of a fighter

Ponce de leon claimed he hurt his hand after the 9th round and just avoided gerry for the last 3 rounds. PDL knew he did not win as convincing as what the idiot judges wrote, so he also said he is open for a rematch. And this this time he would be more careful he said! Why would a Champion who just beat a small guy want to fight him again? Only if he was unsure with the outcome...as we are! peace

Bro, Gerry lost, no need to bash Ponce. I had Ponce winning at least 8 rounds. Even though Gerry's defense was good, he held back his punches. As far as the judges, when HBO showed who they are(Vasquez, Giampa, and Moretti), i already knew Gerry will lose. Even if Gerry doubled his punches thrown and connected at the same percentage, he will still lose. Even though Gerry lost, he did a decent job but the judges score is ridicilous. theres no bashing here you fake pinoy! its the truth! :D
