Something I was just thinking about for a minute.Marciano comes to my mind first.I never put a ton of thought into it or did any kind of research, but he comes to mind as a guy(heavyweight) who has alway came into every fight physically ready.
Yeah I just looked at boxrec.
I really wasn't aware the Archie Moore affair was Marciano's last fight. I wondered at what point in time they fought, but anyways that was at the moonlight of his career and he was in tremendous shape physically.
That's a damn good fight to leave off on also.

but Rock was also always in decent mental shape.
Fuck he was a tough bastard.
Moore hit him with some nasty shots and he walked right through them. I'll remember how brutal that fight was, and you'd probably need a sledge hammer just to hurt Rock in his prime. Anyone.

I think it has to be Rocky Marciano
He was always in great shape and kept himself that way. Good point on Holy though, it's a matter of opinion I suppose.
Holy was always in great shape but he didn't fight 15 rounders either.

Most consistently fit - Rocky Marciano
Most consistent - Butterbean. Seriously, he's been in the exactly the same shape in every fight. Round is a shape.
prime tyson. ne1 that does bobbing and weaving and has a low crouch stance will know. makes your legs really tired.
I tryed and failed with that shit in the gym - super tireing!
Briggs has great stamina along with Butterbean!
Seriously tho its Rocky that gets the nod from me :boxing:
Theevilsaint you are in MI and you have an Iced earth avatar? why dont i know you? haha
oh and how about Spinks for his 3 heavy fights? that was muscle not fat. Kinda like Hopkins when his ego forces him to fight a heavy will be
rocky marciano. he was never out of shape. not even in retirement.
Your right he it was Marciano...But after he retired he ballooned up to over 300lbs...He only went down to 260 for the superfight against Ali...:tapedshut
it's marciano, if he was only fighting a bum he'd train for 3 months, if it was a great fighter like joe louis he'd train for 6 months, nobody else was that dedicated
