Good stuff. 2 way action. Aiken is really overrated. im sorry. That tim austin upset win had to be a fluke. Carvajal is a good fighter, but he shouldnt be on Aikens level. I have Carvajal winning every round other then the first.
I only saw the first six rounds and I had it 4-2 Carvajal. I gave the first and third to Aiken although the 3rd was very close and Carvajal pressed the action. Aiken landed those three or four solid shots to the head.
But for Aiken, who Atlas said already fought jr lightweight and even jr welter, I expected him to at least kd the much smaller Carvajal . Aiken is not going anywhere with what he showed last night.
props to Carvajal.
i'm sorry but carvajal won that fight hands down, it's a disgrace how they did the poor bsatard. aiken looked like shit and was totally taken out of his game and was being pushed back all fight long, all the mid rounds aiken was pinned against the ropes taking shots adn eating leather. plus cruz was landing those straight right hands all fight long everytime he threw them.
i had cruz winning 2-8 and gave aiken 1,9, and 10, that's 7 rounds to 3, atlas gave aiken round 8 because of those right hands in the beginning but carvajal took those punches and stayed on his attack and took that round because aiken blew his wad in the first part of the round adn didn't do anything for the last 2 mins of that round, but after that rounds 9 and 10 aiken fought how he should've been, using distance and movement.
carvajal had aiken against the ropes and was hitting aiken cleanly and at will and he out landed aiken by a 105 more punches give or take a punch.
they shanghai'd cruz carvajal, poor bastard..............he really deserved the W.
I had Carvajal winning the fight....I think Aiken is way too overated, he shouldn't be fighting in eliminators. I wonder if aiken's next fight will be a eliminator for the ibf title.
Aikan was exposed on Boxing After Dark months ago. Where were you guys?
that was showtime on the undercard to... i think PETER-TONEY I
and yea, he was beaten badly by a GREAT prospect. I thought Aiken was a much better fighter then what he showed tonight though
I thought Carbajal won that fight easily. I had him up 97-94 because I scored the 9th even (Teddy gave it to Aiken but I thought it was too close). A draw with the last card being 96-96 is rediculous.
He is a late replacement. It is an IBF eliminator, but I don;t know how ready Cruz will be. He stepped in to this fight on one days notice.
no its not an IBF elimator anymore
and its carvajal not cruz, and carvajal, who took the fight on 7 hours notice, is dominating this fight
