Lloyd Honeyghan-Don Curry?
Nigel Benn-Gerald McClellan?

Other? (Please state)
Robinson is consensus best fighter ever, Pedroza was on record defenses and modern great, Curry was the p4p king, McClellan was a p4p star and next big thing, Tszyu was consensus best 140-pounder ever and modern great, Lacy supposed to be next big thing.. ofcourse, Robinson, Pedroza and Tszyu were past their best, but then so were Benn and Calzaghe supposed to be. What do you think?
Incurable British boxing fans have always taken great nourishment in those few small accomplishments of their heavies, with memories of Tommy Farr's going fifteen rounds with Joe Louis, Henry Cooper KOing the then-Cassius Clay and Bruno momentarily stunning Tyson all dancing in their heads.
After all, it's part and parcel of the British mentality to instinctively admire any man who can make defeat sound like a victory. (Dont forget, they view Dunkirk as a victory.)
And Don Cockell giving Marciano a good workout.
Turpin/SRR for obvious reasons. Honeyghan/Curry runs it close, but only for the fact that Lloyd battered him and it wasn't even close.
For some reason Laing/Duran is my favourite though.
Henry Cooper - Muhammed Ali. Or it would have been if Ali's corner hadn't deliberately cut Ali's glove before the round in which 'Enery was stopped.
That would have been a good one if Ali and his team weren't so skilled at cheating.
:nonono:
gotta go with honeyghan beateing on don curry
curry was considered p4p besat in the sport and unlike anythinthing else on your list he was still in hes prime and was the huge betting favourite but nobody told lloyd honeyghan that
Honeyghan beating Curry was the biggest upset win by a British fighter. Nobody gave him a chance. Nobody.
Yes I agree it is by far the biggest. Curry was thought to be invincible at the time. Ragamuffin put it on that ass.
