I cant believe this fight is on PPV.
I might go, because i dont wanna pay to watch it, but i love watching this guy. He may not be extremely talented, but hes got so much guts and heart, and he can punch to.
So entertaining.
After Bonsante, Who's next?
Bonsante is a bit of a vet, and so was campas...
You think he should get in with the Mirandas and Pavliks of the Division? Maybe fight another veteran, and then get the loser of MIRANDA-PAVLIK?
He could fight Howard Eastman for his British title.
For the Battersea Bomber it will be his last chance to get another crack at a world title, and for Duddy he'll be coming up against a very experienced well respected former world title contender.
what about this name... kofi jantuah... lost to ouma then had a few comeback wins... not sure what hes ben up to recently
that would be a good matchup, i thought of him too but wasnt sure it he was still active
A KO against OUMA would be IMPOSSIBLE at o160!!! lol
He took JT's best shots at 160.
And those were BOMBS!!!! There was one uppercut that sent Oumas head FLYING back, but he walked right through it!!!!
He has an insane chin.
And heart. I just didn't think that he belonged at MW.
Hmm. A Ko wouldn't be likely, but then again I didn't know that at MW Ouma was regarded so highly.
Maybe Corey Spinks?

i stated in my first reply that this would be a dumb fight for duddy to make, just a bad style matchup, ouma would have him out of rhythmn from the start duddy would probably be in a position where he needed a ko to win it.

I was thinking of a person that fits this perfectly, as you were maybe thinking of him too: Kassim "THE DREAM" Ouma!
I'd love to see it.

yea but kassim is to good for duddy. lol
When duddys a bit better, maybe at the end of 07, that would be a good fight.
But he would overwhelm Duddy
what i would do as a manager, or might do, would be to get a very solid 154 guy that throws a lot of punches, to come up to fight duddy at 160.
He would get a great test, but it would be easier to pass and a good learning experience

nobody likes the Irishman?
i love him for all the same reasons that you stated above, though it may not seem like he should fight mirand or pavlik i think in reality he would have a decent chance of beating either guy.... duddy can be beaten by a smart veteran boxer like campas but anyone who makes the choice to stand there and trade if taking the chance of getting laid out... obviously miranda and duddy would be the kind of matchup only a retard wouldnt want to see.. pavlik may be smart enough to just jab him all night, but he seems to have quite a bit of pride when it coems to trading punches..
i guess there also arent a whole lot more names left worth fighting without stepping it up to some high class opposition..
a good fight for him might be ike quartey ior hioward eastman, if he could land a shot at the castillejo sturm winner he would be crazy not to take it.
stay away from sam soliman, kassim ouma, sergio mora, bad matchups..
