What got u into boxing? For me it was a certain Mr. Tyson! My old man was my hero and the respect he had for Tyson made me think this guy must be God! I watched him when i was very young and instantly realized he was!!!! lol
fight night the video game. I wanted it b/c of it's amazing graphics.
Then I started to do research on boxing and it's fighters and I was taken in.
Yeah I know a guy that got involved the same way! I LUV those games! And the old Knockout Kings games! :boxing:
My dad was a Big boxing fan an he had a few of those VCR tapes from magazines soo i watched some recently and i was hooked. The fighter that astonished me was SRR he just got me hooked.
when i was 7 years old and i saw Jones vs Griffin 2 when i was in the states, and my uncle told me the story of the first fight, when i saw roy jones ko that bastar griffin i was like whoa!!!!this guy kicks goku's ass!!!!!!
though i was disconnected from boxing a lot of time till i was 14, mainly because you dont get fights on tv in mexico, but when i was 14 it was 2004, the year of Morales Barrera 3 and since then im a boxing junkie
Dad and Grandad faught as pros. My Grandad faught Dick Turpin in a fairground booth in 1930s. Unfortunatly my Mum put her foot down and wouldnt let me join amature club. My dad taught me how to box but by time i couldve gone to gym on my own i was county standard golfer.
I train now with my 10 yr old son and would love to fight but too old now.
Total showman, i like many others watched waiting for him to get Sparked others coz he was their boy! He pulled the love to hate thing off down to a T! Lots of peeps that didnt give a shit about boxing talked about Naz all the time, thats the impact he had!
He was funny too.
That dude would dance for 10 minutes behind a fucking screen in ringwalk.
Seriously, who does that??
That shit pissed some people off but I thought it was hilarious.
But, I do have to give it up to Hamed, though.
He made it all the way to general access TV up in the Bay Area, CA.
He brought alot of people into the sport with his antics, and talent.
He had a whole room of people transfixed on him that weren't boxing fans whatsoever.
That memory sticks in my mind.

Haha, i LOVE talking to you about Witter cos i know we both feel the same and hate the squeaky little bastard. Yeah i didn't like Naz but he was good to watch.
He was good but his attitude let him down so much, reminds me of Floyd, if he was a nice guy i think id let him but cos hes such a prick a cant wait till somebody smashes his face hin. Junior Witter aswell :boxing:
