Fox Sports Net is reporting that former WBO Champion and hw contender Tommy "the Duke" Morrison has been cleared by the West Virginia State Athletic Commission and will fight John Castle(4-2) at Mountaineer Racetrack and Gaming resort on Feb 22.
Thoughts?
Hell no. He was short on a quick explanation to his skyrocket test levels and came up with that one like the doctor was stupid.
Like the doctor would really believe that someone with a 55 inch chest, a six pack, back pimples and veins bulging from every orifice got those kind of test levels from creatine.
"back pimples" is what gives it away, but only if it is severe. Then again, I knew a kid who had to go on Accutane because he didn't get rid of his acne from his teenage years; he was 26. Elevated Testosterone levels can give you pimples anyway, especially if you have oily skin in your family or just break out with simple irration.
Doctors have a hard time believing a lot of patience, especially young adults. They just assume that you either have been on drugs or still are.
Creatine can increase your testosterone level?

Yes they are, basically speaking all serious illnesses come from or group on hormone imbalance. Which means that if you get perfect hormone balance nothing will get you, not even flu. I mean its hard to explain, but they do shoot you up with hormones so your body can fight the sickness better. they defo do it for cancer treatment, so it is most likely used for hiv as well
...Still, who knows if he's taking his cocktail or not. His wife claims he wasn't taking his meds and so does he. I am willing to bet that he will be held to the same steroid standards as any other boxer. He will not be given a free pass on a drug test because of his status. Also, if they gave him the all clear it means that they believe he is not HIV positive and then he must be subjected to the same testing as everyone else.
I have a bodybuilder friend who sticks himself with everything he can get his hands on. He went for an annual checkup last month and got blood work, and his test level was 1200.
Doctor was like "Woah buddy, those are some high test levels!". He was like 'Yea, I take alot of creatine."
Morrison admitted in an interview with Dan Patrick (ESPN) this morning that his HIV positive test was a result of steroids he was taking back in the mid 1990's.
Which I guess would be the reason why he can't sue for what he claims was a "False-Negative"
I think Magic Johnson said he doesn't have HIV anymore either, because of the medicine he is on. So I wonder if there is a Conspiracy wth Famous athletes and getting "False-Negatives." You know, in order to get awareness out there by having the Doctors conspiring to have results forged into failng a famous person, in order to supply money for their research.
That, or the medicine is working for both people.
Then again, Test labs fuck up all the time so it is possible.
*IF HE HAS BEEN OFF THE MEDICINE FOR A LONG TIME, HAS TAKEN THE TESTS (WHICH HE HAS, 4 OF THEM), AND HAS TESTED NEGATIVE, MAYBE HE REALLY IS NEGATIVE.

Yes, but Doctors also fuck you over with the Test levels. The range is 250ng-875ng.
250ng, is actually very low. 875 is really Mid-High or like scoring a B+ on a Math Test.
Testosterone (total) can go as high as 1200ng, some reports have even higher. "Healthy" levels, determined by a Sports Study, says that a male in his 20's should be in the high 700's, prefer 875 as a good number. Another study, not by Sports people, determined the best levels are actually around the 550-650 range. This range is a good range to keep you healthy, but also level-headed. If it is to high, you are more aggressive/assertive.
The problem with the range with discussing with Doctors is this:
250ng, is BULLSHIT. It is so low that your dick barely works. You sleep a lot. Your memory is shit. Your Cardiovascular system starts to become shot, etc. You are basically a 80 year old man.
But since the Doctors are bought out by Insurance Companies, they are given the results. Plus, if they were to treat you with testosterone, your own horomones will shut down, thus making you unable to have kids in the long run if you are on it permanent. UNLESS, you use HCG to restart your system with an ON-OFF program. First, You could just try a HCG and some other medications, to see if your levels can go back up to the Mid-normal range without having to use Testosterone.
Free-Testosterone is the most important. So when you get tested, you get your Total, plus Free done. You also need your IGF, Cortisol, etc.
basically, if you are to low, you are going to suffer. Don't worry, Doctors will make you feel better by telling you "IT"S ALL IN YOUR HEAD, ITS JUST DEPRESSION." Do your own research.
Oh, I didn't understand your grammer, no offense.
How ironic lol
But yea, we not just talking a test cycle for a heayweight boxer. You talkin more like a test/deca/equipoise stack.
Yea. If you go to a doctor and say your testosterone levels are low, he would most likely give you a shot of testosterone cypionate or possibly enathate. Those are two of the most common steroids that bodybuilders take. Testosterone is testosterone and its the foundation of strength/muscle building.
However a doctor would give you a once a week measured dose of it... while serious athletes or bodybuilders would inject it anywhere from 2-5 times a week.
Oh, I didn't understand your grammar, no offense.
It is not just testosterone, but like the post above, it is a "Cocktail" of variety of steroids.
I should start hehe
Tommy is definitely on the juice again. When he admitted to taking steroids, he had a long interview detailing his extensive knowledge of the substance. He could beat a test if he so chose to, but now that he is able to legally take steroids because of his "condition". He basically gets a free pass to juice, just because of that he shouldn't be allowed to compete. Well, not like tons of other fighters aint juicing, but thats another story.
....Oh Wow, steroids are part of the HIV cocktail then? That's news to me. I'm sure he will be held to the same steroid testing as other fighters.
???????????

Well I guess the correct term would be that he "was" using it for his condition. Wasn't until the past year that I heard about this HIV negative nonsense. So I can guarantee he was likely legally taking them in recent years to treat it.
The juice a doctor would shoot you up with to treat you for something, is the same juice you would shoot up to get bigger and stronger so...its up to speculation.
???????????
Its unlikely to be passed on when you test negative even though in his case the negative is really just it lying dormant, its the same as if you have sex with someone who picked it up less than 3 months earlier. They probably will still test negative because it takes that long to kick in, at that time its less likely to infect a partner but still a risk! In this case the state commision did not do a blood test.
If he never had it why was he taking the drugs all these years? They dont just do one test and say your positive and send you home, you have regular checkups where they constantly test your blood count.
If he doesn't have an "Illness" than there is no reason to use the steroids.

Even if his hormones naturally delinced, which they do with age, you shouldn't be able to take them if you are participating in Pro Sports.
If you want to take Steroids in everyday life, that's your business. However, there is a debate with this, but to long of a discussion.
I should start hehe

...Wow, I hope your right and I hope it gives him so much strength that he starts crushing heads the minute he gets back in the ring.
LOL, u ever thought of becoming a promoter?

Let's not forget that Magic Johnson was able to test HIV negative for years in the NBA when he was actually positive. It's a matter of diet, exercise and discipline. A strict routine can allow an HIV positive person, to test negative. It happens more often that you would think.
He looks to be in GREAT physical shape, though I wonder if he is on steroids again. I wish the fight would actually be televised. I like Tommy and he seemed to be a pretty cool guy when I wrote to him. Wish him the best and hopefully cleaned his life up.
