Moorer,Biggs,Douglas wouldn't beat Wlad to be honest.
agreed,,,those guys lacked the durability to hold up to wlads accurate firepower and they didnt have the big heavyweight power to make wlad unravel. moorer was a beast at light heavy but had trouble knocking the big heavies out. buster douglass was a one hit wonder against a sleepwalking tyson and biggs lacked the power and toughness to hang in against a banger
He got his tactics wrong in that fight for sure,as did Lewis v Rahman and Gatti v Ward 1 but only a rematch can set the record straight.Until he does Brewster holds the bragging rights.
yup,,,hopefully there will be a rematch down the road
moorer..tua..biggs...and douglass, no
ike,,,lewis and a prime tyson ,,yes probably. the rest,,toss ups

wlad was spanking brewster till he ran out of gas. that was just a matter of under estimating brewsters chin. he threw over 70 punchers per round which was way too many. had he just been patient as he's been since that fight it would have been an easy win for him. he pretty much beat himself that night

I only saw the Lewis v Mercer fight once to be honest and it was a long time ago,at the time i thought it was a real close decision that could of gone either waybut i was leaning towards Lewis at the time(maybe local bias). But both Mercer and Witherspoon were better than Brewster when they were in their prime.imo

good thinkin,i think your right.. mercer i thought beat lewis and witherspoon had power and speed a vicious overhand right in his prime

I also think a PRIME Ray Mercer and Tim Witherspoon would have gave him problems.

actually its just an honest question.... most people cannot recite from memory whether or not several individual fighters were ranked inside the top ten nearly 7 years ago, the better question is
what is the point of your post?
My point is to find out if the post is supposed to be a genuine question about how many top 10 guys Wlad has faced if he didnt know,or to sartastically point out that Wlad has not faced enough/or more than than any other top 10 guys than other HW champs.
He hasnt faced Audley Harrison, and until that happens I fail to recognise his legacy.
That'll never happen, if Audley becomes Wlad's mandatory, he'll relinquish the title to avoid him, you watch.

i dont even want a harrison/klitschko matchup announced, the anticipation would rip me apart in a matter of minutes
Sanders defo, or how would they sanction a title fight,
that was one of the points i made above.....
every guy he defended his WBO title against would almost have to be a "top-10" guy
the name derrick jefferson certianly doesent carry much weight, but at the time he fought wlad he was ranked in the top-10, same deal for charles shufford, frans botha, mccline, mercer... but they could just as easily have been ranked 11-15 and gotten the shot, someone would have to do some homework to truly answer the question..
To his credit, Wlad has fought top opposition for the better half of his career and has fought quite a few 'top ten' fighters. Some of his top ranked and noteworthy opponents include:
Chris Byrd(2x)
Sam Peter
Calvin Brock
Lamon Brewster
Corrie Sanders
Jameel Mccline
TOS
Monte Barrett
Ray Mercer
Axel Schulz
I don't think Sanders, Shulz were ever top 10 guys :dunno:

i think you can add frans botha and derrick jefferon, though nothing special, by definition they were at least "top-15" guys if wlad made a title defense against them
