I don't want Paulie to get KOed. He's a good kid. He took a beating against Cotto and showed heart. No matter how bad he lost that fight or the fact that he fought bums. He took a huge step up against Cotto and showed something tons of fighters these days lack. Shit, Quintana took an equal beating against Cotto and was taking tons of praise for outpointing Joel Julio, yet then when he came faced with tons of adversity, he didn't want anymore. He literally said, I can't do it anymore on his chair and that was it. Paulie, 1st round headbutt, 2nd round knockdown, entire rest of fight with a huge swollen cheek. Never once said he couldn't continue. He fought till the end. You can't learn how to show heart.

I think CHERRY could beat Malignaggie, but it would have to be the best CHERRY we have ever seen. And hes trained harder then ever, so u never know. I love cherry. A real worrior. I think the only way Cherry can stop Paulie is if he lands a massive, looping shot that Paulie just doest see coming. I dont think he will. I also think Ishe will decision Powell.

You know, Malignaggi is slick and skilled...but I have points bet on Edner. Why? Well, partly just to make the fight more interesting...but also because it always makes me nervous when a fighter enjoys the reputation boost Paulie did. Whenever a boxer becomes far, far more popular because they lost- and give Cotto credit he put the hurt on a very skilled fighter- it bothers me. I mean, Malignaggi was a nobody and now we're all acting like he's extremely good...based off a loss. A loss. Reminds me of Shannon Briggs getting all the credit he did by being competitive against Lennox for three rounds before....timber! When we expect nothing from a fighter and they give a good effort suddenly we're shocked by the difference between what we expected and what we got. What did we get? Well, we got Paulie promising he'd KO Cotto, getting knocked down- his orbital bone shattered- his nose bloodied and loosing a UD. Sure it was a close loss, but a loss. Let's just remember that. Not saying he won't win...but still.

Yeah same. It's not really because I dislike Malignaggi.....I just like the Cherry Bomb way more. He's more fun to watch fight, and I really don't care about where he stands as a contender or other. I know he's not A class but at one point in time he was a pretty damn solid fighter in addition to him being exciting. I also still would say that he's solid and no slouch even after all this time.
