A certain close friend of mine MAY HAVE broken Peter Manfredo Jr's jaw today in sparring. :tapedshut It was a clean fight, just a nasty uppercut that got Peter. I really hope x-rays come out negative man, Manfredo is a good kid and is set for a big pay day against Calzaghe, he seemed hurt though. I'll keep you all posted. That's no good.. Kessler probably would too. Which would be good news. Unless Calzaghe has already mentally prepared for putting on a show-boating contest for the crowd...which would potentially be bad news. You know where I'm going here. Think Kessler's march 24th date with Andrade is too close to be cancelled, so I can't see Kessler filling in just now. Anyway, should be easy to find someone arround the level of Manfredo as long as they're willing to offer a decent pay. HBO are the ones losing out since it's gonna be hard to find another "name" like Manfredo to fill in. They won't be happy if it's true

Alternatively, it could mean that he has to fight someone even more lowly-rated than Manfredo, which could be bad news. Or he has to take a longer lay off, which could be bad news...or good news, depending upon who he fights after the lay off. This could go a lot of ways if its confirmed. But mostly ways that lead to good news, or bad news. A decent fighter wouldn't take a bout with Calzaghe on such short notice. Kessler probably would too. Which would be good news. I really hope this is a lie... :nonono: would be a messed up lie bro. We dont do shit like that to promote or hype our fighters. Vanes and Peter are good friends, no reason. May have just been real bad pain or somethin, thats what we are hoping.

Hey Vanes, your boy is under Roach now, right? has been since day 1.

It is quite evident that vanes had some pistons in his gloves. he always does buddy, thats why no one wants to sparr with him much anymore. He has some serious power, and that uppercut has taken out about 4 or 5 of his opponents already in real fights.

If Vanes can do that then what can the more experienced more schooled Calzaghe do... damn this situation is gonna fucking suck... I bet you this hasnt even got to the Calzaghe camp yet, but when it does they are gonna be one of two things. Really pissed off the fight doesnt go ahead. or Ecstatic that Peter Manfredo is potentially weakened psychologically and perhaps physically. i guess we will wait for official reports before anything else. Just wanted to give you all a heads up in case the news comes up tommorow or somethin. I personally give Manfredo a better chance against Calzaghe than I do Mora against Taylor. Should be fun to watch both though.

Makes me think how far he would have got if the weakness had not been discovered until fight night when he was in there with Calzone.
