Briggs ill, Ibragimov bout delayed!

well I hope Ibragimov fights someone good for the interim title till Briggs is fit to fight again cause this will really screw up a good night for all of the boxing fans..

You are very ignorant if you believe only elderly people get pneumonia. Anybody can get pneumonia but it sure as hell doesn't take 2 months to cure it. It's more like 2 weeks.

You are very ignorant if you believe only elderly people get pneumonia. you can check my previous posts, ive been predicting an early briggs KO since the fight was announced, so its not like ive been hating on him constantly for 6 straight months or anything.... i just refuse to believe he has "walking pneumonia".... and nothing anyone says will convince me that he does. he won the title in ths shittiest title fight of the year, and now is failing to defend it, ill give him a break when he actually deserves one. pneumonia is something for 75 year olds, who fall down in their driveway after getting their newspaper and laying there in freezing temps for 2 hours til someone finds them.

you guys need to realize this is an intentional move to throw him off of wladamir klitschkos schedule this way he wont fight on the same night as wlad and can avoid the obvious unification bout that would make sense after both champs win this way briggs can keep shooting off his mouth about a fight he cant win and isnt available to take...... don king is so transparent, i wonder if he made shannon do this, or if it was a mutually agreed upon decision why do you guys keep ragging on Briggs? is it just hate or something? i heard that briggs got knocked down twice in sparring by travis walker and he is delaying the fight cause he is afraid of sultan

If a fighter is sick then the fight should be cancelled and scheduled for another date. You guys need to stop accusing Briggs of taking steroids unless you have sufficient proof. I've seen guys over the years that were naturally large and muscular and loved lifting weight that were Briggs size. These guys didn't take any steroids but they were in love with being in the gym and pumping serious iron. Briggs was forced to delay the the fight due to a case of walking pneumonia. well pnuemonia is really serious and takes time to recover. Must have been caused by his asthmatic lungs. Pnemonia is not caused by asthma but when you have asthma a simple cold or flu is exaserbated. That's probably whats going on with him.
